Quilts, receiving blankets, hooded towels, changing pads and crib sets are handmade with many styles and colors to choose from. Crib sets can also be custom made and colors matched by bringing in a sample sam-ple fabric. Gift bags can also be custom made. Bath toys, hooded towels, changing pads and stuffed animals ani-mals can be added to make the perfect gift for a new baby. Silver spoons and bowls are a good gift" item, and baby bracelets are ceniihg soon. They feel their experience and longevity in the car business give them an edge in the service ser-vice they can provide. "We've been doing this longer than anyone else and we're committed to being in business in this valley," said Cory Boyer who represents the third generation of Boyers in the auto business. "When people come here they're a customer to us, at some of the (national chains) they're just a number." Boyer's mission statement states, "We will treat people as our most important asset." And Boyer's tries to hold true to this maxim by being honest and -"-'"'rt . . Boyer's has recently been remodeling their shops and upgrading their systems to ensure they keep the edge. At their re-grand opening in September, Boyer's will be showing off their new sound room and waiting room. They will have an updated service department that houses the latest technology. "We've been a leader in auto services during our long tradition tradi-tion in this area. We're doing the remodeling so we can stay a leader," said Jerry Boyer, whose father started the business in 1943. They've just finished a new car audiovideo room that boasts a car video system display called the scorpion. The only one of its kind in Utah, the scorpion dis- c,rWviHen svstems available. Another new Boyer's display, called the wave, lets customers test combinations of head units, speakers, subwoofers and amplifiers to build a custom car audio system. Though Boyer's Auto Mall has one of the best sound rooms in the state, the family run business offers much more. They have a tradition of a great auto repair shop. One of the chief mechanics has been there for 15 years. "When you come to Boyer's you see the same faces," said Jerry.
