(Ted) Webb, age 66 of Lehi died Sat. November 13, 1999 at his home of cardiac arrest. He was born Jan. 17, 1933 in Lehi, Utah to Donald 0. and Inez Duke Webb. Married Ada R. Heath June 14, 1958 in Vineyard, Utah. He was a retired civil service ser-vice worker at Tooele Army Depot. He served in the Navy in the Korean War. He was involved in ranching and farming in Lehi. He was a - i 1 member of the LDS Church. Survived by his wife, Ada, of Lehi; one son and three daughters, daugh-ters, Donald E.(Sandee) Webb; Carolyn (Bill) McKinney; Gloria (Weldon) Sorenson; Christine W. Child, all of Lehi; 13 grandchildren; sister, Twila (Gene) Clark, Lehi. He was preceded in death by a grandson, grand-son, Bryce Webb. Funeral, Thursday November 18, 1999, at 11 a.m. in the Wing Mortuary Chapel, 118 East Main Lehi, where friends may call Wednesday evening 6-8 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to the service. Interment, Lehi City Cemetery, with military honors hon-ors by the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Zella Childs Barrett ,i,'.'ru.'.'.''jmmwi)iiMWi.....u,.U!.!..iJ.i i - -, - $ ;v '! - I - WA ' - Zella Childs Barrett, 96, long time resident of Pleasant Grove, passed away Nov. 13, 1999. Zella was born April 25, 1903, in Orangeville, Utah, the fourth child of eight children, chil-dren, to Parker Adelbert and Harriett Stilson Childs. She was raised in Emery and Duchesne Counties and attended schools there. She married Joseph Velo Barrett Dec. 14, 1921 in Price, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized sol-emnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Their marriage produced pro-duced three sons, Eugene Barrett, J.R. Barrett, and K. C. Barrett. Zella always loved her church and for many years held positions in the Relief Society and Primary, as she loved working with little chil dren. She will always be remembered for the kind and compassionate care she provided provid-ed her husband during his illness ill-ness until his death in 1984. Their reunion will be a warm and loving one. Zella is survived by two sons: J. R. (Esther) Barrett of West Valley; Dr. K. C. (Joan) Barrett of Pleasant Grove, 11 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren grand-children and 7 great great grandchildren. She was preceded pre-ceded in death by her son Eugene S. Barrett and two grandchildren. She lived a full life and will be missed by family and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 18, 1999 at 11 a.m. in the Olpin Family Mortuary Chapel, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the mortuary and on Thursday one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery. Bezzant card of thanks We, the family of Delia Johnson Bezzant, want to express our appreciation to all those who helped during the long illness and death of our mother. We want to thank our families for always being there for her. Our appreciation goes to the Pleasant Grove Grove Ward for the many acts of kindness kind-ness shown to her by her visiting visit-ing teachers, and those who prepared the luncheon and handled the flowers at the funeral. Thanks go to the staff at Alpine Valley Care Center for the wonderful and tender care that was given to our mother. We thank the Branch Relief Society Presidency at the care cent er for their thoughtful, loving lov-ing acts of kindness. Howard was born Feb. 16, 1913 in Provo, to Levi Winfleld and Johanna M a d s e n Carpenter. He was the youngest of nine chil dren. He grew up loving the outdoors out-doors and spent many happy days trapping, fishing and hunting. hunt-ing. He was a commercial fisherman fisher-man in Utah for many years and owned and operated the Carpenter Boat Camp at Strawberry Reservoir. He also was a mink rancher in Pleasant Grove and later retired as a highway inspector for UDOT. He was an entrepreneur and lived a very interesting and unusual life. "Flies down, at Sir" He married Melba Walker Oct. 10, 1934. They divorced in 1964. He married Alta Florice Labrum Nov. 16, 1965. She preceded pre-ceded him in death. Survivors include his children: Howard Levi Carpenter, Jr. (Dixie) and Doyle LaMarr Carpenter (June), both of Pleasant Grove; Geraldene Carpenter Wong (Harry), Pueblo, Colo.; nine grandchildren: Jon Howard, Ashley, Jason Walker, Shea Hogan, Lance Doyle, Travis Colledge, Stephanie, Sonja and Todd Jeremy; 19 great-grandchildren; one sister, Edna Pickett. He also leaves step-children: Iris (Murl) Gibbons, Nedra (Ted) Christensen, Chell (Dick) Grow, Flora (Larry) Lawson, Jan (Dave) Lehmann, Joye (Fred) Machan; and many step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters, LeRoy, Mable, -Vera, Ruby, Clifford, Enid and Lynn. Graveside funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 2, 1999 at noon in the Lake Hills Cemetery, 10055 S. State Street, on a beautiful autumn day. Ross Moser Ross Moser, 76, died Monday, Nov. 15, 1999, of a massive stroke. He was born Oct. 8, 1923 in M e n d o n , Utah, to E 1 n o r a Lundquist Moser. He married M a r i 1 o u Hawkes on Sept. 8, 1948 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They lived in Preston, Idaho, where they both taught school before moving to Napa, Calif, in 1968. There they continued to teach until retirement. They moved to Alpine in 1991 to be near their adorable grandchildren. Ross was an active member of the LDS Church and had a firm testimony of the gospel. i iia. He will be greatly missed as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He had numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. He is survived by his wife; two daughters: Lois (Harvey) McKenzie and Louise" (Terry) Illes; three grandchildren; two brothers, Jack (Ann), Blair (Karen); and two sisters, Patricia (Dean) Colver and Elaine (Craig) Morrison. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Francine (Ray Condie. Services will be held Thursday, Nov. 18, at the Temple View Chapel in Alpine at 11 a.m. Friends may call at Anderson and Sons Mortuary on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the chapel at 10 a.m. Burial will be in the Alpine City Cemetery.
