BROOKE JOHNSON AND MATTHEW TEFTELLER Brooke Johnson to marry Matthew Tefteller June 6 Brooke Johnson and Matthew Tefteller will be married on Friday, June 6, 2003 in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple. The parents of the bride are Rand and Evelyn Johnson of Orem, Utah. The parents par-ents of the groom are Karen Tefteller and Dr. and Mrs. Glenn Tefteller of Phoenix, Arizona. Matthew served in the Buenos Aires, West Argentina Mission. Matthew attended BYU Idaho and Brooke attended attend-ed UVSC and the University of Nevada at Reno where she was on the basketball team. The couple will continue their education at UVSC. The couple will be honored at a garden reception at the bride's parent's home that evening and an open house in Arizona. Brad Johnson earns his Eagle Scout Award Brad Johnson, 17, is the son of Deron and Angie Johnson, received his Eagle Scout Award on May 11, 2003. Brad will be a Senior at Mountain View High School next year. He is a member of the A Capella and Chamber Choirs and will be serving as the Senior Class President. He is an active member of his Venture Crew and Priest Quorum in the Lakeview 2nd Ward. For his Eagle Project, Brad chose to serve his com munity by helping out the Food and Care Coalition in Utah County. He organized Scouts to help pass out flyers fly-ers for advertising and to help collect blankets, sleeping sleep-ing bags and any monetary donations to buy new pillows. pil-lows. The blankets and sleeping bags needed to be cleaned. Laundromats were contacted to help with the cleaning. Brad is a good friend, brother and son. We are grateful he made the choice to reach this fine goal. Roger Brough earns his Eagle Scout Award Roger Brough, 16, is a member of Troop 200 Lakeview 8th ward. He is the son of Ron and Ralene Brough and is a sophomore at Timpview High School. For his eagle project, he mobilized a neighborhood book drive to benefit the Slate Canyon Youth Center in Provo. Their original goal of 500 books was far exceeded exceed-ed as they collected 1012 books in total. Dustin Taylor earns his Eagle Scout Award Dustin Taylor, 17, is the son of Ron and Celeste Taylor and a member of Venture Crew 200 of the Orem Lakeview 8th Ward. For his Eagle service project he directed a group in cleaning clean-ing up of unwanted camp- y ' " Taylor Anderson sites in the Squaw Peak area. Then they raked and reseeded those areas. Dustin is finishing up his junior year at Mountain View High School and loves to play basketball. Taylor Anderson earns Eagle Scout Award Taylor K. Anderson, 15, son of Kim and Jamie Anderson of Orem, will receive the rank of Eagle Scout on June 8. He is in Troop 1344 sponsored spon-sored by Suncrest 10th ward. For his project he organizes organ-izes the donation and assembly of 120 school kits for the LDS Humanitarian Center. He will be speaking in sacrament meeting on June 8th at 12:00 PM in the Lakeridge 6th ward located at 900 South 100 West. He will enter the Missionary Training Center June 11, 2003. Manny Womanhood WARD 1 E3 V v Holly Siebach Holly Siebach earns Young Womanhood Award Holly Brenda Siebach, daughter of Marlin and Brenda Siebach, has earned her Young Womanhood Award. Holly is a member of the Aspen 9th ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Holly is 17 years old and will be a senior at Timpanogos High School next year. For her projects she made denim quilt, took painting classes, was a nanny for her nephew, a class officer in her laurel presidency, temple work for the dead and read the new testament. ' i J a.
