Hie!sns In an Impressive wedding ceremony cere-mony performed Wednesday, September 17, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, Miss Carol Hollndrake Holln-drake became the new Mrs. Dan W. Nielson. Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. E. Vernon Hollndrake while the groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Doyle L. Nlelson. Both families are from American Fork. Officiating at the marriage was President Bryan Bunker. The couple were accompanied to tbe Temple by the bride's parents, Mrs. PaulineNelson,thegroora's grandmother; Mr. andMrs. Cecil W. Henke, aunt and ancle of the bride and Bishop andMrs. Harold Holley. Later the same ewning they were honored at a wedding reception re-ception at the State Training School LDS Branch. To greet her guests the bride wore a bridal gown of satin with white organza over lace inserts down the front. The gown featured featur-ed full length sheer sleeves with long detachable chapel train of silk organza. Her veil of Illusion was caught to a white velvet band. She carried a bridal bouquet bou-quet of an orchid surrounded by stephanotis. Attending the bride was Miss Kathy Hansen and Miss Pam Holindrake. They wore short white crepe dresses styled A-line A-line with full sleeves, scoop neckline neck-line and slightly flared skirts. Aqua satin sashed and nosegays of white carnations completed their outfits. The mother of the bride chose a floor length dress of rayon marquisette with sleeves encrusted en-crusted with soutache braid. The groom's mother wore a rayon acetate dress. Each was pinned with a white carnation corsage. David Nielson performed the duties of best man. The backdrop for the bridal party was of white chiffon with four lighted columms topped with arrangements of white gladiolus and nqna mums. Swags of aqua ril .!! were arranged across the tup. The serving area was divided divid-ed by white lamps and aqua ribbons. The wedding cake was centered on a heart shaped table with a white lace cloth. The five tier cake was on a revolving base. I Greeting guests at the door was Mrs. Kathryn Hoggard, aunt of the bride, and David Holindrake, Holin-drake, the bride's brother. Jane Fowler was in charge of the serving. In charge of the gifts were Betty Jean Madsen, and JoAnne Barnes. Ann Buttars was seated at the suest book. Special guest Eddie Curfew Named No. One Salesman Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Curfew of American Fork received word that their son Eddie has been named the number one salesman for Mutual of New York Life Insurance In-surance Company in the entire Phoenix, Arizona area for the month of August. He was honored at Phoenix headquarters by having his picture pic-ture displayed in the office as a salute to his energetic endeavors. Eddie and his wife the former Linda Taylor, moved from American Amer-ican Fork to Phoenix where he has been employed by the Mutual Mu-tual of New York Company. She attended grade school, high school and seminary in American Fork. - The couple were married September Sep-tember 30, 1919, in Salt Lake City. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple Tem-ple on May 24, 1928. Mr. Nash was a sheepman and farmer. They made their home in Highland for several years, later moving to Provo where they owned and managed some apartments. apart-ments.
