Bishop Two weeks ago Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Larsen made a trip to Idaho Falls to attend the fun-eral fun-eral of Mrs. Larsen' s brother, Asa Baird. They were accompanied accom-panied by three of her brothers and four sisters-in-law from Payson, Provo and Salt Lake, They made the trip in one day. It was like a scene from the old Tarzan movies as Jane, no it was Tat, swung through the trees slipped and fell at the Christiansen family reunion held at West Canyon. She suffered a badly bruised cheek and a beautiful beaut-iful black eye. They don't make those vines like they used to, huh Pat? Janet Adams, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alden Adams and Ruth Day daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Day are at the six week seminar at USU. Ruth has already al-ready taen put on the Honor Roll. Wayne and Ruby Day are also al-so first time grandparents. Or-vihe Or-vihe and Beverly presented then with a grandson the last part of June. Congratulations to the Days. The Liahoma Holiday for the older Primary girls and their mothers is scheduled for August Aug-ust 4, so mothers keep this date open and be looking for further information. The Trail Builder Roundup for the Guide Patrol and Top Pilots Pi-lots and their parents, will be held this Friday evening in the cultural hall at 7:30 p.m. Each boy is asked to bring $1.00 to help pay for the refreshments. This is an important night for these boys. They have worked hard to complete the requirements require-ments to graduate, so see you there, Mom and Dad. The last Primary of the summer sum-mer will be held next Monday the 28th. A fun day is planned so the girls can wear pants or play clothes. The Le Baron family is expect ed back in our midst this week sometime. The Bishop will be with us next Sunday then will be off to Germany for two or three weeks. Rae Marie reports having a lovely time in Minnesota Minne-sota and seeing many Interesting things and meeting many lovely people, but glad to be home. And we're happy to have them back. We also have two new additions add-itions to our ward this week to report. Dean and Shirley Gilbert Gil-bert have another son in the family born last Saturday, and Gordon and Bonnie Jepperson have another daughter to add to their happy household. This is number nine for them. Not too many of us anymore can count that many blessings, can we? When the heat gels to you, go visit Dave and Melba Stras-burg. Stras-burg. They have a new air conditioner con-ditioner and I hear it is so nice they don't want to leave home for a vacation trip. Both are on a vacation from work right now. I hear plans are in the making for a trip out Vernal way Ci weekend though. Have a nice time Strasburg family. It will be Honor night for the MIA Girls next Tuesday night, Jury 29. This is a very special night to the girls because it is spent with their mothers sharing shar-ing their accomplishments from the past year. The Scouts are planning their week camping trip in the Uin-tas Uin-tas beginning next Monday Jury 28. Just think no more squealing, squeal-ing, girls for a week. Earl Allred is in the hospital with a broken foot suffered in a farm accident. As yet they haven't been able to cast it, but hope it won't be too long before he is able to get around. Ralph Powers and his son Craig are batching it for a few weeks while Sandra and the other children child-ren are visiting her parents In Oregon. When Ralph gets tired of his own cooking he's going io drive up and get them. The Guymon family are going . to vacation in Huntington Can- yon for a week and then Mr. Guymon is supposed to go in the hospital for a nose job. GARY M. RACKMAN GRADUATES FROM CLINIC Gary M.
