Mrs. Irene Evans, Director of Nurses, said the K-Pad will be utilized wherever needed in the hospital. She noted that the K-pad resembles re-sembles a large hot pad but has hollow coils running throughout. Either hot or ice water can be circulated through these, she said. The pad operates off a small electric motor which keeps the water temperature maintained at a constant level. I; can be used without danger of burning the patient, pa-tient, Mrs. Evans said. She noted that the hospital has one other K-Pad in use at this time which has proven a valuable aid in treating cases where hot or hot application is prescribed. Strawberry Days Queen, Miss Pleasant Grove Named at Pageant Saturday Miss Irene Elaine Lowe, a freshman at the College of Southern South-ern Utah, Is the 1968 Strawberry Days Queen, and Carol Hall, a sophomore at Brigham Young University, has been crowned the new Miss Pleasant Grove. Miss Hall was chosen at the same time and will serve as Miss Pleasant Grove for the coming year. Her attendants will be Phonda Edwards and Bonnie Bullock. Bull-ock. May 17 BUHLER TWIN INFANTS DIE SHORTLY AFTER BIRTH Infant twin sons of Fred L. and Ruby Ray Lee Buhler, died Tuesday, April 30, shortly after birth in the American Fork Hospital Hos-pital of natural causes. Infant James Buhler lived three hours and infant John Buhler lived 14 hours. Survivors include their parents par-ents of Highland, and the following follow-ing brothers and sisters: F.
