Show VBBA Annual Breakfast . Slated May 25 The Western Boys Baseball Association will hold their annual Spring Breakfast on Saturday, May 25, from 6:30 to 10 a.m. on the parking lot of Safeway Store In American Fork. Tickets for the breakfast may be obtained from any of the team members. Adults charge is $1 and for children 50 cents. Proceeds from the breakfast will be used for equipment for the teams in all three baseball leagues, the National, the American Amer-ican and the Beehive. Funeral Services Held Monday For Albert Merikofer Albert Merikofer, 74, died Thursday, May 2, in a Provo Hospital of natural causes. He was born May 30, 1893, in Amsterdam, Holland, a son of Albert and Christina Rothe Merikofer. Mer-ikofer. He married Gertrude Greenland May 13, 1925, in Salt Lake City. He was a wholesale fish salesman sales-man in the Western UnitedStates, a member of the LDS Church. He has been a resident of the United States since 1911 and came Albert Merikofer to Utah in 1929. He became aU.S. Citizen December 20, 1937. Francis Abel was the first speaker who told of his association associ-ation with Albert and his family. fami-ly. He said that Mr. Merikofer wasn't a man who did much talking but that he was a person who was friendly and had love and affection for his fellowmen. He was a man who lovedhis family fam-ily very much and was desirous of bringing them as much happiness hap-piness as possible. As a musical interlude, Lydia Kirkpatrick played an organ solo.
