The board was advised by Clerk Elijah Chipman that as required by law, public notice had been i given that school board elections will be held Tuesday, November 8, 1966, between the hours of 700 a.m, and 8:00 p.m. for the purpose of electing three school board members for four year terms. R. Phil Shumway of Orem, Frank Greenwood of American Fork, and Harvey E. Smith of Pleasant Grove, all Incumbent board members, have filed for re-election. FORMULATE SEWER RATES Tentative agreements have been reached between Orem City and Alpine School District concerning con-cerning garbage service. Each school in the Orem area will be given garbage service five times per week during the regular school term (September through May) and charged $11.00 per month per schooL During the summer months (June, July, August) Au-gust) each school will receive one garbage pickup per week and be charged, $2.50 per month. TO BUILD LINDON SCHOOL Henry and Eric Johnson Construction Con-struction Company of Salt Lake City entered the low bid of $462,319.00 and was awarded the contract for building the new elementary school at Lindon. The bidding was highly competitive com-petitive with contractors throughout the state vying for the contract. Four of the bids were within a range of $14,000 with the second low bid being a mere $1,700 above the winning win-ning figure.
