I The schedule, has been set up as follows: 4, 5 and 6 year olds, 1:00 p.m.; 7 and 8 year olds, 2:00 p.m., and 0, 10, 11 and 12 year olds, 3:00 p.m. Last fall Mrs. Earl conducted a six weeks course in dancing which proved very successful and popular with her students. Alpine District Students Finish Regional Program Administrators; teachers and students of Alpine School District Dis-trict participated in the regional Association for Childhood Education Edu-cation Conference held recently at Provo High School. The conference, con-ference, attended by representatives representa-tives from Alpine, Provo, and Nebo School Districts, included a lecture by Dr. Obert C. Tanner of the University of Utah, demonstrations dem-onstrations and an exhibit of instructional in-structional materials. Three groups from Alpine School District presented demonstrations: demon-strations: Carl Mellor and students stu-dents from Lehi Elementary School gave a demonstration on social studies; Herbert Gilbert and fifth grade students from Pleasant Grove Central School presented an activity on arithmetic. arith-metic. Gena Bachauer To Present Concert at BYU One. of the great keyboard personalities of the day, Gena Bachauer, will be presented In concert at Brlgham Toung University Uni-versity April 18 at 8:15 p. m. in the Joseph Smith Auditorium. Bachauer, the phenomenal pheno-menal Greek pianist who has captivated American audiences and critics ever since her New York debut in 1950, was well known in Europe and the Near East before coming to the United Unit-ed States. She has played with nearly every major orchestra In Europe and the Near East and has given hundreds of recitals re-citals from London to Cairo. Born in a suburb of Athens, Mme. Bachauer studied piano at the Athens Conservatory, and later with Cortot In Paris and with Sergei Rachmaninoff She gave concerts In Italy, Yugoslavia, Yu-goslavia, Austria and Egypt and was In . France preparing for a third Italian tour when the war broke out in Greece. She returned' at once to Greece, but wr.cn the Germans swept down the peninsula, she' fled with her husband to Alexandria.
