Greg has been InvolveT in scouting for many years and has . arned his Arrow of light award. For his Eagle project, Greg built a drinking fountain at Highland City's Heritage Park. The scout drew up . the plans, and used a cinder block base with stone on the outside. The fountain saw heavy use this summer during the Highland Fling. . I ; t j V m m nw m mu)k.t Greg Gillespie Bret Watts gets Eagle Feb. 16 at North Stake Bret Richard Watts received his Eagle Award Sunday, Feb. 16 at the 22nd Ward in American Fork North Stake. Bret is the 14-year-old son of Richard and Jean Watts. For his Eagle Project, Bret sanded and repainted the score board and the dugouts at the Beehive Ball Park which has been renamed the Wendell P. Hansen Park. Bret is in the ninth grade at American Fork Junior High School. He loves and participates in all sports. Bret is a member of the IDS Church and is active in his Aaronic Priesthood Quorum. ' - J Bret Watts Jason Dalton receives Eagle Sunday, Feb. 16 Jason Dalton, 15, son of Dr. and Mrs. Oral T. Dalton, received his Eagle Scout award on Sunday, Feb. 16. He is a member of Troop 842 of the American Fork 22nd Ward. For his Eagle project, he organized scouts in his ward and they provided lap quilts for the lounge at the Heritage Care Center in American Fork. Jason has also earned his Arrow of light Award, Faith in God and On My Honor Awards. He is a ninth grader at American Fork Junior High School. He enjoys all sports. Thomas as assistant manager of the American Fork office of ' First Security Bank of Utah, has been announced by Calvin W. Jeppson, senior vice president and manager of the southern division of the statewide bank. A native of Provo, Thomas joined First Security in 1981. After completion com-pletion of the bank's management training program, he was assigned as an installment loan officer at First Security's Roosevelt office. For the past year Thomas has served as a consumer installment loan officer in Provo. Thomas attended Snow College and is a 1981 graduate of Weber State College. He is a former member of the Heber City Jaycees and a member of the American Institute of Banking. - 1 I M -M. Scott Thomas Beehive Camp hears lesson on 'Utah Rivers' Members of the Beehive Camp of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers met at the home of Wanda S. Petersen on Feb. 13. Co-hostesses were Wanda Veater and Lois Pritchett Officers nominated for next year were Myrtle Bell for Captain, Vivian Barker for 1st vice president, Inez Kenner for second vice president, and Mary Warnick, secretarytreasurer. Also nominated were JoAnn Able for registrar and Mary Peterson for historian. Eva Reynolds of Pleasant Grove was a special visitor from the county DUP. Electa Smith took charge in the absence of Captain Barker, who was ill. The lesson was given by Alta. Bailey on "Utah Rivers." Wanda Veater read a most interesting history on her. ancestor, Matt Martina Patterson. Refreshments were served to the 15 women present. High school honor ro American Fork High School has released the honor roll for the second quarter of the 1985-86 school year, according to Dr. Steven Baugh, principal.
