Show Thursday, May 25, 2006 NORTH COUNTY NEWSPAPERS Jensen, 50th Kirkpatrick, 90th Laycock, Chase Wood, Gardner Lamb, Frandsen 1 Darrell and Norma Qegg Jensen are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary while serving in the Ohio, Cleveland Mission, at the Kirt-land Kirt-land Historic Sites. The couple was married on May 29, 1956 in the Salt Lake Temple. Darrell and Norma's greatest joy is their family . Their children are Ron (Linda) Jensen ctf Brighara City; Janese (John) Vance of Sandy; Doug .(Jill) Jensen of South Jordan, Kurt ( Shanna) Jensen of Orem; and Andrea An-drea (Derek) Larsen of Jvins. The Jensen's have 16 grandchildren grandchil-dren and three great-grandchildren. Clark, Johnson Douglas Mulliner Lynn and Kathy Clark ol Lehi are pleased to announce the forthcoming forth-coming marriage of their daughter Lindsey dark to Shaun P. Johnson son of Brad and Wendy Johnson of Woodland. The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, May 27, 2006 in Salt Lake City. A garden reception will follow from 4 to 6 p.m. at the home of Lindsey 's Aunt, 2206 East 3020 South, Salt Lake City. Lindsey graduated from Lehi High School and the University of Utah. Shaun is a graduate of South Summit Sum-mit High School. The couple will make their first home in Tavlorsville. Elder Douglas Brack Mulliner, son of Brack and Michelle Mulliner, of Highland, has been called to serve in the Montana. Billings IDS Mission. He will speak in a sacrament service ser-vice Sunday, May 28, 2006 at 9 a.m. in the Highland 8th Ward, 10390 N. Alpine Highway , Highland. An open house will be held at the Mulli-ner's Mulli-ner's home that same day beginning at 12:30 p.m. Elder Mulliner will enter the Missionary Mis-sionary Training Center on June 7. Lydia O. Kirkpatrick Hallsey, a life-long resident f American Fork, will celebrate her '90th birthday on Monday, May 29, 2006. The day will be celebrated art Greenwood Assisted As-sisted Living, in Lehi, where Lydia now resides and will be attended by close family members. Lydia was bora in 1916 to Jacob Alma Olsen and Harriet Luella Stoors. She immediately took up residence on 300 West in American Fork; she lived on that same street her entire life. In 1938 Lydia married Wendell Kirkpatrick. They had three sons; Paul, Bill, and Bob. Wendell died in 1992. In 1993, Lydia married Floyd Hallsey; he died six years later in 1999. From these three sons, there are now eight grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. At a very early age, Lydia took up the piano. She then spent the remainder of her life using music as a medium to serve the residents of American Fork. She gave piano lessons too literally hundreds of students stu-dents over a period of more than 20 years. She was also a professional music teacher at the Utah State Training School for many years. She ihas also served as the Temple Organist at both the Provo and Timpanogos Temples. In addition, she has composed many pieces of music. In 1970 Lydia received the Teacher Teach-er of the Year award from the State Training School. She has also been named the KSL Teacher .of the Day , the Educator of the Handicapped for 1982, and was Co-Grand Marshall Mar-shall of Steel Days Parade in 1998.
