They couple will be married January 22, 2004 in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple. There will be a reception that same evening at the North Hampton House at 6:30. Jill graduated from Timpanogos High School Pianist to Solo with Utah Valley Symphony Dustin Gledhill has been performing since he was old enough to sit upright on a piano bench, playing with symphonies numerous times as a youth soloist and winning win-ning prestigious international interna-tional competitions over the past two decades. On Wednesday and Thursday, Jan. 28 and 29, he'll again be in the spotlight spot-light as guest soloist for the Utah Valley Symphony's winter concert con-cert in the Provo Tabernacle. Concerts begin at 7:30 p.m., and tickets are available at the door at $5 per person or $15 per family. The concerts mark Gledhill's second solo appearance with the symphony since returning return-ing from an LDS mission to Montreal, Canada. He will perform Tchaikovsky's Piano Concert No. 1 in B-flat minor. The orchestra, under the baton of Bryce Rytting, will also perform Richard Wagner's Prelude to "Meistersinger," Bach's Badinerie" from the Orchestra Suite in B-minor, B-minor, Borodin's "In the Steppes of Central Asia," and Chabrier's "Espana." Gledhill, a BYU music performance major, recently released his second sec-ond recording on the Covenant labelfr "Always" featuring the V pianist's original hymn and classical classi-cal arrangements, similar simi-lar to his first recording, titled "A Gentle Touch," released two years ago. Gledhill began playing piano at age 3 and gave his first recital at the Madsen Recital Hall at age 5, studying with David Glen Hatch. He now studies with Irene Perry-Fox and teaches several students himself. He performed with both the Utah Symphony and Utah Valley Symphony as a youth soloist, plus a number of other symphony sympho-ny orchestras around the country, and won the Junior Gina . Bachauer International ; Piano Competition at age 17. He has studied at musical institutes in Moscow, Russia; Prague, Czech Republic; Munich, Germany; and Ann Arbor, Mich. " 2" I roc lory Jis " WAYNE AND V0NA DEE VERNON Wayne and Vona Dee Vernon celebrate 50 years Wayne P. and Vona Dee Vernon are celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary. They were married in the Manti Temple January 14, 1954. Their children held an Open House on Saturday, January 10, 2004 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Geneva Heights Stake Center located at 546 No. 500 W. Orem. All fiiends, family and neighbors were invited to celebrate with them. Wayne and Vona Dee have lived in the same neighborhood neighbor-hood for 50 years. Wayne grew up in the same area; Vona Dee in Provo. He is known for his 50 years in Scout leadership, leader-ship, his beautiful woodwork, and being the neighborhood handyman. Vona Dee enjoys being a homemaker. She loves cooking, quilting, crocheting, gardening and especially their family gatherings. They are parents to 5 children, grandparents to 16 and great-grandparents great-grandparents to 4.
