Show Society Events and Accomplishments of local citizens Page 4 Orem-Geneva Times Wednesday, June 14, 1989 Tawni Peirce to marry Jeff Porcaro in Salt Lake Temple Tawni Peirce, daughter of Richard and Mary Kay Peirce of Orem, will marry Jeff Porcaro, a son of Robert and Jean Porcaro, also of Orem, on Friday, June 16, 1989 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Bishop Glen Pace of the Presiding Bishopric will officiate. A reception will honor the couple that evening from 7 to 9 p.m. Attending the bride will be Cindee Nielsen, Michelle Johnson and Tiffani Peirce. Groom's attendants will be John Porcaro and Brandon Peirce. Bridal showers were given by Cindee Nielsen, Peggy Stoker, Jean Porcaro, Suzanne Jacobson, and Kim and Karen Peterson. The bride-elect is a graduate of Orem High School and LDS Seminary and is now a junior at Brigham Young University. While at Orem High she was Varsity Var-sity and Jr. Varsity cheerleader. She is employed at Goodtime Video and University Mall. Her fiance also is a graduate of Orem High and LDS Seminary. Tani Kim Nield to wed Ke vin D. DeA dder Thursday Dr. John and Sally Nield of Spanish Fork are pleased to announce an-nounce the marriage of their daughter Tani Kim to Kevin D. She attended BYU for two and a half years before serving a mission to Winnipeg, Win-nipeg, Canada. She currently manages the Subway Sandwich in Spanish Fork and will be working work-ing on a nursing degree at UVCC. The groom is a graduate of Orem High and was active in drama, DECA, drafting and debate. He attended Snow Jr. College on a debate scholarship and served as a freshman senator. GLENN Juliana Chick, Garth Glenn will marry in Denver LDS Temple Juliana Chick, daughter of Gerald B. and Katie Chick of Longmont, Colorado, will marry Garth M. Glenn, a son of Lowell and Yvonne M. Glenn of Orem, Utah, on Friday, June 16, 1989 at the Denver LDS Temple. An open house will be held Saturday, June 24, at the Pullman Inn in Provo. A reception recep-tion was held earlier in Longmont. Bridesmaids are Printa Scott, Arianne Glenn, Shellie Chick. Steve Baldwin is best man with Wayne Baldwin, Danny and Andy Chick, attending. Special guests will be the groom's grandmother, Norma Ward from Nampa, Idaho. The bride-elect is a graduate of Rick's College in accounting and is attending Brigham Young University. Sheldon worked at Geneva Steel, Bunkers Feed Mill then worked for Alpine School District the last forty years retiring in 1986. Naomi worked part-time at a beauty shop and the Alpine School Lunch Program and is active ac-tive in civic and educational organizations. or-ganizations. Sheldon enjoys camping, church work and being with his family. Naomi enjoys quilting, reading and gardening and being with children and grandchildren. Both have held many positions posi-tions in the LDS Church. They served an LDS Mission in the Pennsylvania Harrisburg Mission Mis-sion July 1985-86. they served in the town of Lockhaven where they made many friendships which still continue.
