Have you investigated newer lights that burn cooler and safer, and use less electricity electric-ity than some of the older ones? Test your lights before mounting them on your tree or house. Many lights for indoor use on trees are rated 7 watts each, and no more than 85 such lights should be connected to a single outlet. The new pinpoint "mini" lights use very low wattages (about 18-20 watts for a full string of 30 to 50 bulbs) and it is unlikely that the average homeowner home-owner would put enough on a tree to overload a circuit. Over 1,800 Utah Witnesses filled the Hillcrest High School Auditorium Saturday and Sunday, December 8th . and 9th for their semiannual semi-annual Circuit Assembly. The theme "Proving Ourselves Our-selves Fruitful Disciples" (John 15:8) was carried . throughout the program. Mr. Richard DeJulio, a member of the Orem Congregation, expressed the feelings of the local members who traveled to Salt Lake City for the weekend. He stated that it was indeed a 'fruitful' two days, that much was learned to help each one become a fruitful disciple. Mr. DeJulio also helped out in the administration of the assembly, serving in the Cafeteria Department, Depart-ment, which provided hot, nourishing meals for the delegates. The Brooklyn, New York headquarters of the Witnesses, was represented represent-ed by Mr. Harry N. Snow, Circuit Overseer for Utah Circuit Number One. Mr. Snow started studying the Bible back in 1932 and entered en-tered the full time ministry minis-try in 1933. His disciple making work has taken 1 him into some nine states over the years. He spoke to the convention Saturday Satur-day afternoon on the subject sub-ject of discipline. The program included skits, group discussions, missionary experiences, discourses and also a baptism bap-tism ceremony for new disciples. The program, which was open to the public, was designed for family groups. The highlight of the seminar, according to Mr. DeJulio, was on Sunday when Mr. J.D. Wengert, district supervisor, spoke on the topic "Whose Disciple Dis-ciple Are You?" The assembled as-sembled group was urged Orem-Geneva Times to follow Jesus and the example of love that he set Mr "wengert said "To sei.mr c 6 . .
