Show Mr. Twitchwell Q. Twitchell Suffers Fatal Heart Attack Quenton Twitchell, 53, of 917 East 700 South, Orem, died of a heart attack Saturday, April 26, at the Utah Valley Hospital. He was born Sept. 18, 1921 in Escalante, to Joshua Lafayette Lafay-ette Twitchell and Annice Bea Snyder. He marriedShirley Bullock Bul-lock on Nov. 29, 1963 at Las Vegas. After his marriage he made his home in Orem. He was a member of the Orem 23rd Ward where he was an Elder. Mr. Twitchell received his education in Salem and Spanish Fork schools. Following his graduation in 1941 he entered the U.S. Army and served as a Military Policeman. He served ser-ved in Europe during his tour of duty. After his release from the service he returned to Salem, Sa-lem, and began working for Geneva Gen-eva Steel, where he was employed em-ployed as a crane operator at the time of his death. His hobbies hob-bies were hunting and fishing. Niel D. Hutchinson Neil Douglas Hutchinson, three-week-old son of Joseph Alma and Nannette Crow Hutchinson, Hutch-inson, Buhl, Idaho, died of congestive con-gestive heart failure April 21, in a Salt Lake City hospital. He was born March 30, inJer-ome, inJer-ome, Ida. He was the brother of Mrs. Edward B. (Debra) Richards, Rich-ards, of Orem. Graveside services were held in Buhl. Virgil H. Bates Virgil Harold Bates, 74, of Eureka died Saturday, April 26, in the Payson Hospital. Masonic funeral services were held Wed. April 30, in the Eureka LPS Ward Chapel. He was born to Virgil H. and Hannah P. "Minnie Hales Bates on Feb. 18, 1901, in Spanish Fork. He married Amy Allen Olsen on June 29, 1929. She died Feb. 7, 1973. He married Clara Snell Gar-bett, Gar-bett, May 12, in Eureka. He was the father of Mrs. Lawrence Law-rence (Olive) Strasburg and Mrs. Robert (Ruth) Gordon, both of Orem. f ANN R. NOR I'M Leonard D.Martinson Funeral services for Leonard D. Martinson, 67, who died at Payson Hospital following a heart attack on Monday, April 21, were held Thursday in the Payson First-Fifth Ward Chapel. Mr. Martinson was a long time resident res-ident of Payson. He was born to Dan and Ul-rika Ul-rika Simons Martinson on Sept. 30, 1907, in Eureka, He married Allean A. Box on Aug. 24, 1936, He was the brother of Hilda Women's Lib Penetrates Women's lib has penetrated ;he heretofore all-mule bastions of the local Phi Delta Kappa fraternity, fra-ternity, a national organization for the improve mnt of education. Until recently, only men belonged be-longed to the local organisation which is sponsored by Brigham Young University. But now two women are members both from the faculty of Utah Technical Tech-nical College a t Provo, and a third member of the Utah Tech faculty had been admitted just prior to her death several wveks ago. Ann R. Norurn Passes Away Ann Running Norurn, 81, 1014 S. Main, Orem, died Monday of causes incident to age. She was born Jan. 9, 1894 in Fort Ransom, N.D., a daughter of Paul and Mary Ronning. She married Edwin Norum on April 19, 1921 in Fargo, N.D. He died November, 19G8. She was a member of the St. Mark's LutheranChurch of Provo. She has been a resident of Utah for many years. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Marjor-ie) (Marjor-ie) Wright, Layton; Mrs. Du-ane Du-ane (Eleanore) Davis and Mrs. Charles G. (Lillian) Barney, both of Orem; 15 grandchildren; 13 great - grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters, Palmer Ronning, Braham, Minn.; Magnus Ronning, Valley City, N.D.; Parry Par-ry Ronning, Litchville, N,D.; Mrs. Hortensen Holland, Ducoda, Wash., and Mrs. Pauline Rood, Fargo, N.D. Funeral services will be today at 1 p.m. in the St. Mjrk's Lutheran Church, 464 W. 2700 N., Provo. Friends may call at the church one hall hour prior to. services. The students at West more School have greatly enjoyed the works of local artists who have displayed their paintings at the school.
