Joe Pantos Elected To Top Position An Orem businessman has been elected to the top office of the Knights of Columbus in Utah County. Joe Pantos, owner and manager man-ager of Economy Office Furniture, Furn-iture, wjs electedGrand Knight of Fscalante Council 1136 for a one year term, beginning on July 1. Pantos, who lives in American Ameri-can Fork, succeeds Orem resident, resi-dent, Ted Deprey, in the top job of the local unit of the international Catholic men's fraternal organization. Deprey recently was named insurance agent fur the Knights in the-state the-state of Utah. The annual conference will be held at the Conrad Hilton Hotel in Chicago, Illinois, July 15-18. The Utah group will be headed by Mrs. Karen Stone, State FHA Adviser and Utah State Board of Education Home Economics Specialist. The pageant is held yearly in Manti, Utah, a little town 50 miles from the freeway. It pre-1 sents scenes based on Mormon' history and doctrine, and yet has appealed to non-members as well.
