Show Impqunded Dogs Must Be Licensed Before Pick Up In compliance with Animal Control Regulation 70-71 of the Orem City Code, a new ruling on animal control has been established es-tablished and will be enforced, Odel Miner, assistant executive administrator announced today. City officials now request that animal licenses must be purchased pur-chased for all unlicensed animals ani-mals before the owner can re- trieve the impounded animal from the city dog pound. In addition the owner must pay the $3 impound im-pound fee plus $1 a day for board and keep of the animal. He may then take the animal, but within 10 days must report to the Orem City Center with proof that the animal has received a rabies shot before he can pick up the previously purchased animal an-imal license, which will be on file at the Center. In the case of licensed animals, ani-mals, the same fee will be charged charg-ed for an impounded animal with the exception of the license fee. According to law all impounded animals may be destroyed after three days. JACOB KAPP Utah County's largest Industrial and Institu peries!
