Gillespie, manager of the Salt Lake District and Don Scott, assistant as-sistant general manager of the hockey team. And, this year, two Cudahy products will carry the immensely popular redeemable redeem-able hockey coupon for children's ' tickets. Cudahy last year was one of the charter co-sponsors and en-Joyed en-Joyed a phenomenal response to tts merchandising campaign with the Golden Eagles. According to Mr. Gillespie, Cudahy wiener sales substantially substantial-ly increased during the six month period from October through March, coinciding with sponsor-shi sponsor-shi of the hockey games. One of the richest $10,000 in prizes guaranteed amateur golf tournaments in the nation will get underway Oct. 9 when the first flights tee off in the Security Invitational Golf Tournament at Miami's Doral Country Club. Sponsored by the Security Safe Deposit Box Corp., Santa Ana, Calif., the invitational is open to members of the nation's banking bank-ing community. More than 100 bankers have already signed on for this initial tourney. Warner Murphy, president of the Orem State Bank, will attend from Orem. The bankers, many of them attending at-tending the American Banking Association's 96th annual meeting meet-ing that weekend in Miami, will be trying to make special deposits de-posits on the 9th, par-3 hole at Doral's Blue Monster course. A hole-in-one on the 168-yard over-the-water shot will win a new Cadillac convertible for the first contestant to turn the trick, says Andrew J. Barber, the firm's marketing director who will be acting as tournament director. youngsters 17 years and under to gain free admission to a Golden Gold-en Eagles game when accompanied accom-panied by a paying adult.
