Clark of Santa Monica, Calif., announce the betrothal of their daughter, Susan, to Judd Whetten, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifton L. Whetten of Orem. The couple has circled Sept. 8 for their marriage in the' Los Angeles Temple. Miss Clark is a graduate of Santa Monica High School and is currently enrolled at Brigham Young University. The couple has set May 16 for ieir marriage in the Manti LDS Temple. They will be honored that evening with a reception from B to 10 p.m. in the 33rd Ward Cultural Hall. Mrs. Ron Hyde, outgoing president, welcomed the ladies. Those on the program included Mrs. Jay Eitner and Mrs. Willis Hepworth. Mrs. Clan Stilson made a special presentation to Mrs. Hyde and the officers for the coming year were introduced. New members, mem-bers, Mrs. Doug Brown, Mrs. DeVerl Byington, Mrs. Sid Russell, Rus-sell, and Mrs. Dale McCann,were welcomed. A delightful musical program was presented after the luncheon lunch-eon by the Ross Esplin family of Provo. Sixty-two members and guests attended this meeting.
