This conference is sponsored by Utah State University in cooperation coopera-tion with theSears Roebuck Foundation. Foun-dation. The conference will begin on Monday, June 10 with registration from 11 to 12 noon. Following lunch, tV planning committees will meet. General assembly will convene at 2 p.m. with a .welcome .wel-come to be' given by the Sanpete County delegate and a panel discussion dis-cussion will be held on "Why Are We Here'?. This will be moderated by Glenn Baird, State 4-H Club Leader. At 3 p.m. the conference operations committee meeting will be held and the entire en-tire delegation will be divided into discussion committees under the following items: discussion groups, reporters, assembly, election, el-ection, talent, social events, recreation, rec-reation, citizenship, A recreation period will follow these meetings. Dinner and a general assembly in the evening with the introduction by county groups will be held. A presentation of the plans for the conference will also be made. Tuesday disucssions will concern con-cern Youth, Tobacco and Alcohol with Dr. Robert J. Beveridgeand Sargent Dean Eskridge of the Salt Lake City Narcotics Squad taking part. Wednesday's keynote talk Struggle for adulthood" will be given by Dr. Laverd John, Director Direc-tor Teacher Personnel, Weber County School District. Richard Boyce, UtahState University Uni-versity Recreation Specialist, will talk on camping, A Way to Health and Happiness", County groups will follow with a meeting where they will plan their activities and how they can use the conference when they return home. Elections (or the 1969 planning committee will be held following this and freettime activities. A banquet at 6:45 p.m. and a farewell dance will conclude the activities of the day.
