BYU Honors Eight For Giving Service Eight persons who have given a lifetime of distinguished ser- yice w receive special awards at Commencement excerises of Brigham Young University May 31 at 9:30 a.m. in George Al- bert Smith Fieldhouse. it was announced today by President Ernest L. Wilkinson. The recipients and the honors they will receive are: Blaine Watts, engineer and National Na-tional Boy Scout Committeeman, the Abraham O. Smoot Public Service Award. Dr. William F. Edwards, executive ex-ecutive vice-president of First Security Investment Co., the' Jesse Knight Industrial Citizenship Citizen-ship Award. "? Mr. and Mrs. George E. He has given 37 years of-service of-service to scouting as board member of the Great Salt Lake Council and National Boy Scout Committee. He has served as chairman of the YMMIA General Boy Scout Committee since 1959. Dr. Edwards holds the doctor of commercial science degree from New York University and was director of research and financial fin-ancial officer for a group of large investment companies in New York City until his appointment appoint-ment as dean of the BYU College Col-lege ofCommerce(nowBusiness) in 1950. M23.30P Fish and Game April Arrests A total of 86 Fish and Game violations were processed through Utah's courts during the month of April, according to the Division of Fish and Game's monthly arrest report. Net fines for these cases totaled $2,017.50. This month's arrest report shows a significant increase in-crease over the same month's report a year ago. Last year in April 46 cases went through the courts with net fines of $800. Fishing violations accounted for a large part of this month's arrests with many of these being fishing license violations. Daggett County noted the largest larg-est number of infractions of any county due to the high number of anglers going to Flaming Gorge Reservoir. A total of 41 arrests were made here in April, 15 of these for fishing without a license and 8 others for fishing with more than one line or pole. There were also 5 arrests for overlimits of fish. grandchildren and one greatgrandchild. great-grandchild. Dr. Warner is chairman of the new Department of Biophysics and Bioengineering at University of Utah. He also serves as a member of the Advisory Committee Com-mittee on Computers in Research and as chairman of the Computer Com-puter Research Study Section oi the U.S. Public Health Service. Dr. Rich began practice in 1894 and was physician at the birth of 5,828 babies, over 3,500 of them delivered in private pri-vate homes. He has seven children, child-ren, 27 grandchildren 90 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Dr. Robertson received the Reichhold Award $25,000 for his composition 'Trilogy" in 1947, winner in the entire Western Hemisphere. He also has received re-ceived the Endicott Award, Boston, Bos-ton, 1923; Society for Publication Publica-tion of Music Award, 1936; BYU Alumni Distinguished Service Award 1953; National Federation of Music Clubs Award 1959; First Distinguished Professor, U of U, 1965, and a commission commis-sion for 'Piano Concerto' National Na-tional Foundation of Arts and Humanities, 1966. Mr. Sauls graduated from Utah State University in 1920 and was secretary to Dr. Franklin S. Harris, then chief of an experimental ex-perimental station. He came to BYU as Dr. Harris' secretary in 1921, became secretary-treasurer secretary-treasurer in 1939 and treasurer in 1954. He has served under three presidents and two acting presidents.
