Mayor Proclaims Secretaries Week In honor of the Secretary, the week of April 24-30, 1966 has been designated and proclaimed as Secretaries Week by Orem iCity Mayor, James E. Mangum He requests that all business and industries join in giving due re& ognition to this group and pay special attention to Secretaries Day. The observance of Secretaries Secretar-ies week is to bring recogni tion to secretaries for the vital ;roll they play in business, Industry, In-dustry, education and government. govern-ment. The efforts of these skilled office workers are usually taken for granted and their contributions contribu-tions to the nation's progress are unrecognized. To honor the secretaries sec-retaries now doing their jobs diligently and to encourage others to enter this worthy career, it is essential that rightful recognition recogni-tion be given them. The Timp Valley Chapter is sponsoring a dinner and fashion show today Thursday April 28 at the Duncan Manor in American Fork. All secretaries are invited in-vited to attend. Audition Time Announced By Valley Music Hall It was announced today by Kenn Randall, Executive Producer of Valley Music Hall, that there would be auditions for singers and dancers for the forthcoming musical season. Mr. Randall expressed a real interest in having as many local dancers and singers try out as are available in this area. The following schedule will be in order: 3 May lytib 10:00 a.m. female singers (needed 20) male singers (needed 17) 3 May 1966 1:00 p.m. female dancers (needed 13) Male dancers (needed 4) These try outs will be held at Valley Music Hall in the rehearsal re-hearsal area.
