Motes, D.C. . . i Among the medical students, who are rather given to grim . jests, there is a saying that the sufferer from a sinus infection in-fection comprises the ideal patient, since "no one ever dies from the malady, and no one gets well." The practitioner practition-er thus is assured a continuing continu-ing source of revenue. i Happily for suffering mankind, man-kind, the chiropractor does not share this fatalistic attitude. -He knows that chronic pain and discomfort is foreign to the natural law. Nature inten- ded a continuing state of sound health for all creatures. Pain is thus a violation of the basic plan of mankind. For this suffering there must be a cause. Once the cause is uii-derstood, uii-derstood, derted and corrected, correct-ed, a condition of normal health becomes a matter of tourse. The . chiropractor ' understands under-stands the cause of your sinus pain. And what Is, to you, much more significant, he knows how to give continuing continu-ing relief, by correcting the basic conditions that- lead tu disease, and discomfort. The following case history from my files is an example of how chiropractic care can correct sinus trouble. A young man came into my office with the following sinus symptoms: unable to sleep at night through for years, De- cause of the mucus draining into his throat, fighting for every breath, eyes watering, headaches and tired all the time. Chiropractic examination revealed re-vealed nerve pressure caused by misaligned vertebrae. The pressure exerted on the nerve by the misalignments inter fered with the flow of if im pulses between the brain and infected tissues. D e p r i v -ed of the normal supply of impluses, the tissues ceased to function normally. Scientific chiropractic ad justments began to return the displaced vertebrae to their normal position and as the normal impulse flow was restored, re-stored, satisfactory relief was experienced within the first week and after six weeks all the above symptoms had been relieved. A chiropractic examination can quickly determine if youi condition is caused by nerve interference. If it is, you stand an excellent chance of enjoying good health once again. 542 South State - Orem, Utah Phone AC 5-3350 Searled proposals will be re ceived by the Board of Edu cation of the Alpine Scnooi District up to 1:00 P.M., May 29, 1962, for the construction of a Junior High School Build ing at 6th West and 8th North Streets, Orem, Utah.
