Janet Farley has good friends and she will long have cause to remember it. Sixteen girls quietly gather ed 'one night at the home ot Sandra Vernon and finished making preparations for a belated birthday party for a companion who felt alone . . . Janet's mother had died just a short time before1 the girl's fourteenth birthday.. .' Before the close of the party Janet had, her first bicycle, bought from many small donations do-nations of her school friends. Their way of letting her know they care. Homecoming for Larry Park Sunday Homecoming for returned missionary, Larry Park, son of A'r. and Mrs. Richard D. Park, 95 East, 100 North, Orem, will be held Sunday, May 13th in the New Chapel, Orem 1st Ward. Larrv has recently returned from a Southern Stotes Mis sion. After one year of missionary mis-sionary servivce, the Southern States Mission was divided and Larry was transferred to Flor- Roger E. Lowe Out of Army P-F.C. Roger E. Lowe, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Merrill Lowe has returned home after 38 months service In the armed arm-ed forces.
