Steven Baugh delivered a report of the Key Club District Convention Con-vention at Bountiful and surveyed sur-veyed the general standards oi the Key Club. Fred Clayson played a piano solo and accompanied ac-companied group singing. Wayne Guymon delivered an address expounding the aims of the Key Club. He stressed the importance of development de-velopment of the individual, which he contrasted with a tvDical. conformist member of a- regulated society. He illustrated illust-rated the importance of freedom free-dom as an individual, stating, "It is individuals that will keeD America at the top . . . You owe it to yourself to b an individual ... you owe it to your son." He challengeu the Kiwanians to De individuals indivi-duals and to encourage development de-velopment of individual leadership, lead-ership, and expressed appreciation appreci-ation for their work toward these ends through sponsoi-ship sponsoi-ship of the Key Club. The speaker also noted the beginning of the Key Club organization or-ganization in 1905 with the founding of the first club In a high school in Socramento, Calif.
