The kind of life we live today would give grandpa apoplexy. apop-lexy. It is a strenuous life, and we neea au tne relaxation our homes can give us. We need to know how much our lives have been changed, and our houses have lagged behind. Take the garage, for instance. Where were the first garages built? Away from the house. Why? Because the automobile was taking the place of the horse and you didn't want the stable near the house. It has taken a long time to bring the garage and the home together. And even now, when we do most of our coming and going by car, we cling to the formal front door idea. Too many of our houses still face the street. That was alright in grandpa's day, but today's home can more wisely face rear garden or terrace. There may be something else wrong with your homes. It may not be the right kind for the climate. cli-mate. The main purpose of the house is to protect us from the weather. Unless it protects us from the weather year around, it is not a modern house. In regards re-gards to the potential of modern mod-ern air conditioning, most of us are living in houses of grandpa's day. , With a year around Lennox air conditioner, you flip a switch and it changes from heating to cooling. You set a thermostat and it keeps the temperature where you want it Summer, Winter, Spring or fall. It takes up little more space than an ordinary furnace. You can put it in any existing home, or in any new house you are planning to build. How much more will you have to pay for 4-season comfort com-fort than for 1 -season comfort? That depends on your house. But it can be had for a few dollars dol-lars per month on our easy payment pay-ment home improvement plan. , Call us for an appointment. We will furnish you a survey with all pertinent facts and figures. fig-ures.
