Surely there is someone out there, but one would be hard-pressed to find a person in Park City not familiar with Mayor Dana Williams and his band. It has been nearly 1 1 years since the band first formed. Williams and his buddy Dan Hall had been known to have "jam" sessions. It was all in fun. Two musicians playing for pleasure. But, a gig at Bad Ass Coffee really kicked things off. It was then the two decided to form a band. As the son of a jazz musician, Williams grew up playing guitar alongside what can be considered a musical family. "Basically, 1 have always tried to maintain trying to play given there are other callings in my life, but this is something I've always tried to maintain." main-tain." Hall, on the other hand, comes from a folk background. His brother Mike was "way into singing harmonies and folk music," and Hall ended up catching the bug. As a result, he has been playing in bands for 30 years. So, with the duos' background in music, il seemed natural to form a band. Today, Williams can be found playing the mandolin, dobro, guitar and harmonica. Hall plays guitar, gui-tar, sings and writes songs. Three others Please see Motherlode, C-4 Mi. Table for.
