Show The Park Record WedThursFri, June 30-July 2, 2004 r Briefs B-10 Chesa Fina: The From hostess gifts to party planning, Chesa Fina enhances events By MONIKA GUENDNER Of the Record staff When Judy Jackson and Chad Carter decided to help Park City throw a party, they declared nothing noth-ing off limits. Through their latest venture, the mother-son team created Chesa Fina to give party hosts and guests everything they need to entertain. "What we're really trying to do is be 'all about entertainment...' We really would like someone to come in here whether they are giving giv-ing a dinner for two or throwing a gala for 100. We can give them their look," said Jackson. Chesa Fina is another facet of the y- Group, an event planning company also headed by Jackson and Carter, and sister company to Chesa Fina, a floral design studio in Prospector Square. Because of the big picture approach created by the small business empire, Chesa Fina is designed to be a main resource for the entire spectrum of entertaining needs, both on social and corporate corpo-rate levels. For example, a guest about to attend a party can find hostess gifts starting at $5. Chesa Fina carries a line of whimsical chef aprons, kitchen towels and cocktail napkins, nap-kins, small packages of gourmet chocolates and a line of linen-textured candles ready-made for such needs. The store also offers English wrapping paper and several lines of greeting cards as well as a 'call ahead' service where a customer can order a gift to be bought, wrapped and ready for pick up by making a phone call. Chesa Fina has gift items for all occasions as well. Ceramic frames can be personalized with a newborn new-born baby's name, dogs and cats can receive their own edible greeting greet-ing cards, and home-made photo albums could find themselves in the hands of a newlywed couple. From the host or hostess's point of view,-the store, carries hand-painted hand-painted stemware, high-end china and ' contemporary table settings from the south of France.
