This year we are emphasizing recydability and environmental friendliness at the Festival. In partnership with the Park City Recycling Center, the Park City Art Festival is striving to reshape, restructure and reeducate reedu-cate artisans, participants and you, our guest, on ways our Festival can contribute con-tribute to and help with recycling efforts this year and in years to come. Visual Artists displaying their artistic talents on Historic Main Street during this year's Festival were selected from a record number of applicants. Artists from 30 states spanning the nation from Florida to Hawaii, as well as the District of Columbia, will be sharing their talents and wares with you. In this our 26th year, the Park City Art Festival is proud to be the first major festival or event in the Intermountain region to have a complete recycling program. This year, the Festival food and beverage vendors, who serve 70,000 to 80,000-plus visitors, will be using recycled plates, bowls, cups and utensils, as well as recycled paper napkins. This program also includes recycling bins, provided pro-vided by the Park City Recycling Center, which will be placed at the Food Pavilion, on Main Street and at the Festival's entrances. Additionally, the 25,000 Festival programs will, for the first time, be printed by The Park Record on 100 percent recycled paper. Finally, our Festival T-shirts and hats will be manufactured using 100 percent recycled recy-cled materials by Eco Fibre and available through Mountain Design. Recycling, it's important and it's a big part of the 26th Annual Park City Art Festival.
