Title 7, Section 7-1-317 and 7-1-318, Utah Code Annotated 1953, as amended 7-1-81, REPORTS OF CONDITION. 7-1-317. The commissioner may call upon any institution under the jurisdiction of the department for a report of its condition at the close of business on any day specified in the call within the preceding three months. The reports required shall be transmitted by th; institution to the commissioner within 30 days after the date of the call. Reports prepared by an independent certified public accountant or reports accepted by nupervlsory agencies of the United States or other states shall be acceptable. 7-1-318. The commissioner shall make not less than two calls annually for report of condition upon each depository institution under the jurisdiction of the department. The report shall be made according to the form prescribed by the commissioner and shall be verified by the oath or affirmation of the president or a vice president and attested by at least three directors. Except as provided in chapter 9 with respect to publishing or mailing reports of credit unions, a copy of the report, duly certified by the comnissioner, shall be published by the Institution making the report in a newspaper having general circulation cir-culation In the county where the principal office of the institution is located. Proof of publication shall be filed in the office of the commissioner within 30 days after tho tlrne of receipt by the institution of the copy certified by the commissioner. The commissioner may require a report of condition of any financial institution under the jurisdiction of the department whenever he considers it necessary.
