(TFN) Community church school Park City's thriving community Sunday School program is a joint effort by three Protestant churches. Held each Sunday morning at 9 a.m. at the Park City Community Church, 402 Park Avenue, the classes consist of people from the Community Com-munity Church, Shepherd of the Mountain Lutheran Church and St. Luke's Episcopal Church. Ranging from preschool ages through adults, the enrollment now exceeds 50, and more students are arriving each Sunday. Sunday School is from 9 until 10 a.m., with worship services at the Park City Community Church (Methodist affiliated) following at 10: 15 a.m. During the worship hour, child care is provided for youngsters of kindergarten and below. (331) Counseling for low-income families Because of a recent federal grant, the Park City Family Counseling Institute is offering counseling services to low-income low-income families and single-parent families. Fees are on a sliding scale according to income. The Institute is open from 9 to 5 Monday through Friday and evenings by appointment. (tfn) The Park City Community Clinic, a nonprofit family planning plan-ning program, will be holding clinics in April. Appointments are available for morning, afternoon and evening clinics. The services offered include: physical exams, pap tests, counseling and education, VD screening, pregnancy testing and contraceptive supplies. Costs for these services are reasonable. (41) Easter church services The Park City Community Church will hold a tenebrae service ser-vice (service of candles) on Good Friday, April 1 at 7:30 p.m. The Ecumenical Council of Park City, representing seven area churches, will sponsor an Easter sunrise service at the Snowpark Lodge in Deer Valley at 7 a.m. Easter Sunday. Following that service, the Community Church will serve breakfast from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. The regular Easter morning mor-ning worship service will follow at 10: 15 a.m. Treasure Mountain PTO There will be a regular meeting of the Treasure Mountain Middle School PTO on Tuesday, April 5, at 7:30 p.m. Nominations for officers for the 1983-84 school year will be considered. (tfn) Registration will be held on Friday, April 1, at the Park City Newspaper for classes on "Broughercize," the latest craze in the media world. "Broughercize" teaches mind and body control, integrating three valuable timesaving skills : 1. Better typing through osmosis: The student learns better bet-ter typing skills simply by resting his head on the typewriter in a trance-like manner. Prof. Brough has perfected this mysterious art, and will also point out the benefits of a humming hum-ming electric typewriter. 2. Indoor outdoor temperature adjustment: Discover the trick to remaining comfortable at all times without removing your Kremlin hat or trenchcoat. Prof. Brough remains cool and collected even on crowded dance floors where others are sweating their socks off. 3. Critiquing theatre with eyes closed: you'll love this indispensable in-dispensable timesaver (not to be confused with the Dr. Bop method of critiquing theatre without attending) . Tuition is $20 per person. Students are advised to bring . their own twinkies, and maybe a couple extras if they're really serious. (41) You can learn the essentials of making your own beer in about three hours. Classes are limited to three students, so everyone participates. Two lessons are given: the first covers the selection of the type of beer to be made and preparation of the wort (the mixture that becomes beer). At the second session, a week later, participants bottle and take home two six-packs of their own home-brew. Class times may be set to suit participants. (47) Printmaking at Kimball Salt Lake artist Kris Billington will be teaching a six-week printmaking course at the Kimball Art Center beginning Monday, April 11. The course will meet every Monday evening from 6:30 to 9 p.m. The workshop will cover woodcut and silkscreening. A follow-up course covering photo silkscreening will be scheduled in the near future. Cost for the course is $45 for Kimball Art Center members and $50 for nonmembers. In addition, all students will be charged a $15 materials fee. Early registration is encouraged.
