The law requires the clinic to send names of all unmarried un-married patients to the Secretary of the Posterior's office in Washington, D.C. In order to receive funds to keep the clinic open they are also required to tell the pig's parents who the little piggy has been rooting around with. "Post-pubescent piglets (PPP's) are afraid to come to the clinic because they have been told we will notify their parents," said Maxfeel. "It's not fair. They are told to be fruitful and multiply and when they do, they get in trouble." Maxfeel cited one tragic instance as a case in point. "Sylvia is a fun-loving (PPP) but she isn't ready to raise a family." Sylvia and her six little piglets arrived on the clinic's doorstep during last week's snowstorm. snow-storm. "One of the piglets was nearly frozen and it was clear that Sylvia was panic stricken about how to cope with the situation," said Maxfeel who has offered the porcine family temporary asylum at her ranch in Pork City. Sylvia is just one of many local (PPPs) who have admitted that they knew there was a clinic located in one of the abandoned mine shafts somewhere underneath under-neath Park City but were afraid to ask directions. At a recent PPCPC group therapy thera-py session for unwed pigs one member said that her parents threatened to send her to the Coalville Bacon Factory if she was caught filling any suspicious prescriptions pres-criptions at Gamma Tau Beta. The new law has had a devastating affect on our business, said another staffer. "No one comes to see us anymore. All we do is write grants and try to keep track of our lawsuits. We're lonesome," she said. PPCPC's lawyers are trying try-ing to get a preliminary injunction which would allow the clinic to deceive the pig parents and still receive government funds. The basic premise is that it will be a lot cheaper in the long run to provide pigtraception sup- plies than to fund Aid to( Dependent Pig Programs. "Do you know how much it costs to have a piggy on the swim team these days," asked one very vocal PPCPC supporter, "Media" Anne Burnedout. The lawyers are not optimistic opti-mistic about the outcome. ' "In a state where teens need parental permission to have their noses pierced, there isn't much hope for an injunction," said Barrister Brew Ravage. "Maxfeel said that the clinic is ready to fight dirty if , need be. "Sylvia will probab-' ly end up hiring herself out as a rototiller in order to support the piglets. She had a bright future, but now college is out of the question," ques-tion," said Maxfeel. "I just hope we can prevent this from happening to other innocent young pigs. The law . goes against, nature," lie, added. ; I 12! ::WmSmiWmMmm -if mm ' ' 5 ' ' ' 7'i :MMmmi'::Sm Jtjr I i " ' I 1 ' WHW 7 y.,--i-" f i in Deer Valley I DAYSTAR TOWNHOUSES luxurious 3 bedroom condominiums ... spectacular views towards Snow Park Lodge and Bald Eagle Mountain Southern exposure with passive solar design features. ... visit our model open from 1 - 6 p.m. daily or call your favorite broker. ... for further information telephone 649-2440 or 649-8550.
