Hawkins Phone 324-M Mrs. Lily Slocher and grandson grand-son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Don-ald Harshbargar left for their home in Dawson, Nebr. last Sunday Sun-day after spending a few days here visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Glen Harshbargar and three daughters. Mr. and Mrs. George Massa entertained at a family dinner at their home on Mother's day for the following: George Massa Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Bob Cochran and children, Cheryl and Bobby, Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Osoro and daughter, Sharon, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Massa and children, Connie, Cynthia and Peter John, Raymond Ray-mond Garamendi, Mike Barela, Gusta and Sam Brisca. Spending Mother's day with Mrs. Milka Smilanich were Mr. and Mrs. Milan Smilanich and daughter, Georgie, and Mr. and Mrs. Steve Smilanich and son, Michael, of Salt Lake City. Mother's day visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Chanak were Mr. and Mrs. Pete Chanak and family, and Dorothy Chanak of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Feno XaiZ and daughter of Midvale visited at the Joe Scorzato home Tuesday. Lorraine Scorzato and Mike Lavender of Salt 'Lake City visited vis-ited Wednesday with Lorraine's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Scorzato. Scor-zato. Mr. and Mrs. Nick Yengich and family of Sandy visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Marko Yengich Yen-gich and family. Very lovely was the Highland Boy P-TA Mother's day tea held last Friday afternoon at the school. A program consisting of dancing, recitations and music was presented by the students under the direction of Principal Don F. Lennberg and Mrs. Lola English. Each mother in attendance attend-ance was presented a carnation. Ice cream, cake and punch was served after the program. |
