Grove' Vikings 71-60 In a preseason pre-season basketball game played in Pleasant Grove last Saturday Satur-day night. Bank Employees Hold Christmas Party at Jacobs Employees of the Pleasant Grove Bank held their annual Christmas party Tuesday evening even-ing at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kay Jacobs. The dinner for the group was catered by the Alpine Country Club. Employees, officers and directors dir-ectors of the bank exchanged gifts and each of their partners received a box of candy. Those present besides the host and hostess were Mr. and Mrs. Keith Jacobs, Mr. and Mrs. Neil Fugal, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Swenson, Mr. and Mrs. J. Taylor Allen, Mr. and Mrs. Ertmann Christensen, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Cook, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Gilbert, Mr. and Mrs. Ken Harris, Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Newman, Mr. and Mrs. Craig Oveson, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Petersen, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Wall-ace Saling, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Rich-ard Wells, Miss Sue Black and partner, Marvin Slater, Lynn Deveraux and Carol Ann Mills, Joyce Fowers, Lucille Hillman, Naydene Nielsen, and Madge Peterson. Variety Club Holds Christmas Party Last Saturday Night The Variety Club held their annual Christmas .party last Thursday night with husbands as special guests". The festivities festiv-ities were held at a local cafe. Gifts were exchanged and games enjoyed during the even-iag. even-iag. The tables were decorated with favors of holly and candy and nuts. The committee in charge of the affair were Myrle Armit-stead, Armit-stead, Eva Reynolds, Nina Hunter Hun-ter and Juanita Larson.
