The adminis Red Devils turn-up beat the M George SHS swimmers turned up the heat' and roasted the desert denizens of St. George this past Saturday when they hosted Snow Canyon, Can-yon, Pine View and Dixie at the Springville Community Com-munity Pool. Coach Amyee Hargett commented that the margins mar-gins of victory were somewhat surprising since her swimmers had been training hard in the pool all week (with no plan to post best times this meet). The Red Devils had decided to mix it up a bit by putting different swimmers together on the relays and looking to secure times for individuals individu-als in events they hadn't competed in previously this season. "I am really proud of all the kids efforts today. I thought the girls in particular par-ticular showed a lot of heart!" commented Coach Hargett. Girls' Co-Captain, Christine Vaughan (Sr), added that a number num-ber of her team-mates were absent due to their early Thanksgiving Holiday Holi-day week departure for Mexico to participate in a local service project. So she was happy to see the remaining girls really pull together and step-up their performances. Talent and devotion to swimming appears to run in families as seen in the sensational sibling performances perfor-mances and winning relay re-lay exchanges turned in by the Beutler brothers, Joe and Mike, of Snow Canyon and SHS sisters, Christine and Shannon Vaughan.
