Show Thursday, November 23, 2006 SPRING VILLE HERALD 19 Jared Murillo (o perform with Disney's High School Musical Concert Tour Jared Murillo, a Maple-ton Maple-ton resident, has been chosen cho-sen to perform with Disney's Dis-ney's High School Musical Concert tour which begins November 29th in San Diego, Di-ego, California. The tour will span over 40 cities in two months and conclude in Las Vegas on January 28th. :-v; -,-,: "High School Musica," which has grown into a pop-culture phenomenon has already produced a triple-platinum selling soundtrack and is the top selling album to date and is predicted to finish 1 in the pop charts for the year. Murillo will be featured as a principal dancer and an assistant choreographer chore-ographer for the entire production. Not bad for an 18-yearold from Mapleton who already has earned multiple titles in dance competitions. He is the current United States Latin Youth ballroom ball-room champion as well as a former World and United States Swing Champion. Marillo was in the original origi-nal "High School Musical" production that was mostly most-ly shot in Salt Lake City. He was in the Disney video with Zac Efron (lead male character) in the hit song, "Getcha Your Head in the Game". Jared will be performing with Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Van-essa Hudgens, Monique Coleman and Corbin Bleu and others. He has been in rehearsals rehears-als working long and hard hours in LA getting ready to take the show on the road and has choreographed cho-reographed solo dances, where he will be dancing with Monique and other stars of the show. Murillo has already signed on for the Disney Television sequel to High School Musical. Shooting The 21st Annual Christmas Christ-mas Lamb Exhibit will run December 1 through December De-cember 29, sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. David Nemel-ka Nemel-ka of Mapelton It will be held in the Ingrid Nemelka Gallery, and will include awards totaling $600 for 60 works of art from school age children K- 10th grade. These works show how each of the youth represent the spirit of the Christmas season. Each young person will receive an award and a certificate. But no one wanted to give up and go back.
