Show 16 Renae Bills Lucas , Renae Bills Lucas, age 63, passed away on November Novem-ber 19, 2006 after a long, courageous battle with diabetes. She was born on June 9, 1943 to Ronal and Mabel Bills. She grew up in Springville, Utah, and graduated from Springville Spring-ville High School. She later Went on to earn a degree in accounting and got a job working for W.W. Clyde in Springville. She married David W. Lucas on October 23, 1970 and together they parented two children. Renae had a spunky attitude atti-tude that we all know and love. She loved her husband, hus-band, children and grandchildren grand-children with all her heart. She enjoyed taking long rides, 4-wheeling, camping and going for motorcycle rides with her husband. At a younger age she also enjoyed going to Moab for the annual Jeep Safari's. She will be greatly missed Janice Dixon Bringhurst I Janice Dixon Bring-Hurst, Bring-Hurst, age 77, of Springville, Spring-ville, Utah, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2006. She was born in Payson on June 27, 1929 to Zola and Selby Dixon. She married Mart Bringhurst on September 11, 1947 in Payson. They were married mar-ried for 55 years. Janice grew up in Pay-son Pay-son and spent a lot of time helping her father with the day to day chores of running two ranches, one in Birdseye and the other inMoseda. Janice excelled in horsemanship and was Rodeo Queen for several different rodeos. Her dad always said she was his best cowhand. Janice was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Mart B. Bringhurst; Bring-hurst; her brothers, Keith and Dale Dixon; and her sister Phyllis Wagoner. Steven and Catheryn were married mar-ried and sealed for time and eternity on May 21, 2005, in the Mt. Timpano-gos Timpano-gos IDS Temple. Steven was born to Lynn Martin and Judy Bi-gler Bi-gler Roundy on November Novem-ber 22, 1976, in Tucson, Arizona. He spent his early years there and moved to Springville, Utah, at age five. Steven later lived in Mesa, AZ, and Sudbury, MA. As a child, Steven loved taking apart and rebuilding re-building bikes. He also followed fol-lowed in his grandfather's and father's footsteps and learned to love fishing. Through out his life Steven Ste-ven was very athletic, participating in a variety of sports, which included lacrosse and football. In high school, he received his Eagle Scout award. Steven served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Washington-Tacoma mission. He married Emily Em-ily Herold of Washington, and they had a son, Wesley Steven, and later divorced. Steven was a talented and creative woodworker, building a unique queen bed, dresser, cradle and other items. He loved bar-bequing bar-bequing and built phenomenal phenom-enal barbeques and smokers smok-ers that were the center of many social events with family and friends. Steven loved helping people and spent many hours and late nights helping anyone who was in need. Because of his gift with computers, Steven worked as a Systems Administrator Administra-tor at Enhance Interactive of Orem, UT. It was there that he met his wife, Catheryn Cathe-ryn Springer. Most recently recent-ly Steven had been hired to be a Systems Administrator Administra-tor at Logoworks. Wesley, his son, while putting a challenging puzzle together togeth-er remarked recently, "It's okay. Daddy and Catheryn always say, 'Never give up.'" Catheryn Whitney Springer Roundy was born on September 24, 1983, in Spring Valley, Illinois to W. Andrew and LynnEl Springer. Catheryn was our beautiful porcelain doll. She's gone bowling. Born in Sunnyside, Utah, November 3, 1914 to Joseph and Clementina Mori Carnesecca, she was raised in Mapleton with four brothers broth-ers and three sisters who all worked at the family fruit farm learning a solid work' ethic and character; traits she carried throughout her life. She met and married Clarence K. (Smitty) Smith and lived in Rock Springs, WY for the first years of marriage. They moved to Springville and bought the home Delia resided in for 63 years. Delia and Smitty Smit-ty owned and operated a service station for many years. She worked the station sta-tion with Smitty during the war, as there were no men to take positions. They also owned and operated op-erated a motel in Ketchum, ID then back to Springville where they ran a small tavern tav-ern in Provo. They spent one summer at Strawberry Reservoir running the fee station for the water users association. The grandchildren grandchil-dren took turns spending time fishing and chasing potguts. Her children: Joe, Jean, Carol Ann; and nephew, Marvin, whom she raised as her own, learned that hard work, discipline, respect, honesty and love were more important than material trappings. Delia bowled from 1946 to 2000. She was a charter member of the first sanctioned sanc-tioned W.B.A. league in Springville and received "honorable mention" in the Bowler's Hall of Fame. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Altar Society, Jaycees, and helped raise funds to build St. Francis Catholic School in Provo. Always on the go, she loved the outdoors. She had a beautiful yard, loved to deer hunt, fish and oil paint landscapes and still Heath (Champaign), Illinois, Illi-nois, when she was eight years old before finally moving to Orem, Utah, for college. She attended White Heath Grade School and graduated in 2002 from Monticello High School in Illinois. Catheryn was very athletic ath-letic and loved participating participat-ing in basketball, softball, soccer and track. She excelled ex-celled in each sport. Catheryn, Cath-eryn, a National Honor Society member, Life-saver, Life-saver, and peer counselor was also a cheerleader for many years. She had a beautiful alto voice and sang in Madrigals all four years of high school, and was selected to be in the Illinois Il-linois All-State Choir. She loved music and played the flute and trumpet in band, as well as the piano. pia-no. Catheryn was an artist art-ist and loved to draw and paint. She also tinkered with photography. She lived her dream when she participated in a BYU Paris study abroad program from September - December 2004. After which, she traveled extensively ex-tensively through France, Austria and Germany with her sister, Amy. When Catheryn returned from Europe, she and Steve became be-came engaged. They married mar-ried three months later. Catheryn loved her stepson, step-son, Wesley, with all her heart. She just graduated from Brigham Young University Uni-versity in August 2006, with a degree in English. Catheryn volunteered Thursday, November 23, 2006 I S - ' - - i El Delia Carnesecca Smith life. Her very first still life took a blue ribbon and best of show trophy. She was an avid Jazz fan and watched NASCAR and every event in the Olympics. She was always up for an adventure. Her nieces and nephews always said, "Aunt Delia was the fun aunt". Never afraid to be a bit nutty, she was always the life of the party. Her children, grand, great-grand, and great-great great-great grandchildren were her greatest joy. She will be missed by so many. She is survived by children: chil-dren: Jean (Kelly) Hardman of Springville, Carol Ann (Dick) Wiley of West Valley City, Marvin (Vicky) Carnesecca Carne-secca of Lee's Summit, MO; sister, Lena DeRose; sisters-in-law, Janet and Mary Carnesecca Car-nesecca of Mapleton and Springville; daughter-in-law, Toni (Ralph) Petty of Rock-lin, Rock-lin, CA; grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her spouse; son, Joe; grandson, Kelly Carnesecca; Car-nesecca; parents; brothers: Jim, John, Frank, Joe; sister, Helen; sister-in-law, Bernice; brothers-in-law, Herb Towers Tow-ers and Louie DeRose. Lystrup, who passed away in October, 1999, and her paternal grandmother, Winifred Whitney (Wilson) (Wil-son) Springer, July 1975. We will all miss them.
