They will be honored at a reception that evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Chil-lon Chil-lon Reception Center, 710 E. Center, Spanish Fork. They invite all friends and family to come and join in their celebration. They are registered at Target. Lucinda is the daughter of the late Marie Ma-rie Taylor Measom. Her grandparents are the late Reed Taylor, and Erma Taylor Tay-lor of Salem and Jack and Leah Measom of Springville. Jeff's parents are Kathy Bona Templeman Temple-man of Spanish Fork and Craig Temple- Mey Higgen, Derek Taylor temple vows Announcement is made by Dana and Gayleen Higgen of Corona, California, of the engagement of their daughter, Kailey Gayleen, to Derek P. Taylor, son of Craig and Kathie Taylor of Mapleton, Utah. The couple plans to be married on Friday, September 29, 2006 in the San Diego LDS Temple. A reception will be held in Corona that evening, and an open house will be held in Mapleton on Saturday, Oct. 7. The bride-to-be works at Partyland in Orem. His grandparents grandpar-ents are the late Neil and Frances Bona of Spanish Fork and Gerry and Marlene Templeman of Seattle, Washington. The couple will make their first home in Spanish Fork. C Clyde and Lela Averett of Springville, Utah, will celebrate cele-brate their sixtieth wedding anniversary on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2006. they were married September 30, 1946 inLehi. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple in 1963. They have lived Springville all of their married life. Their family will host an open house in their honor on Saturday, Sept. 30, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the LDS Third and Ninth Ward building, 55 N. Main, Springville. Friends and family are invited invit-ed to celebrate with them. They request no gifts. The Averetts are the parents par-ents of four children: Eileen (Jack) Anderson, Kenneth (Roz) Averett, Kelly Averett Aver-ett and Janine (Steve) Hatfield. Hat-field. The couple will make their first home in Springville. Glendon Johnson celebrates eighty years October 1 In celebration of Lester V. Hardy's 84th birthday, there will be an open house for him on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2006 between 1 and 3 p.m. at the park on 100 South and 700 East in Springville, Utah. wAll friends and family fam-ily are invited. Lester was born in Provo on September 27, 1922, living liv-ing there until 1961 when he moved his family to Springville, Spring-ville, where he owned and operated his own business, Les Hardy and Sons, until retiring. In case of inclement weather the open house will be moved to the Hardy Har-dy home located at 1700 S. State, Springville. Lela and Clyde Averett -1947 Clyde and Lela Averett Now Glendon C. Johnson of Springville will celebrate eighty years on Sunday, Oct. 1, 2006. He was born Oct. 1, 1926 in Vernal. Glendon is married to Lela Wadsworth of Idaho Falls. They have two daughters, daugh-ters, Utawna (Ron) Witney of Springville and Robin (Wayne) Carter of Spanish Fork. They have six grandchildren grandchil-dren and almost 13 great-, grandchildren plus four step children and eight step grandchildren. Springville has been their home since Glendon graduated gradu-ated from Brigham Young University and acquired a job with W. W. Clyde Company in 1953, where he worked until retirement in 1991.
