Home logo is what does the "I" and "M" stand for? "That's simple", according accord-ing to Craig Knott, general manager of the first I.M. Home-Furniture for Living store now located in Provo's East Bay shopping center. "It stands for great looking, quality furniture at great prices". That is evident as you enter en-ter the I.M. Home doors, with the beautifully arranged room groups, bold colors and wide variety of styles, one gets the impression that I.M. Home is what a furniture store should be. That's what the husband and wife team had in mind when they moved from Chicago earlier this year to open a furniture store focused on furniture. Eve Knott, lead design cor-rdinator cor-rdinator said, "The days of buying a couch next to a lawn mower, next to a BBQ grill are over. Consurers are more educated than ever about interior design and they know what they want and what it should look like. That's where we come in." I.M. Home has great looking look-ing furniture to choose from, patterned after your favorite Pottery Barn, Williams Sonoma Sono-ma Home, and Crate and Barrel catalogs, but they also give the customer choices. In I.M. Home's ample showroom, show-room, you can pick from hundreds of fabrics to design your own sofa, love seat or chair. I.M. Home not only carries a stunning line of furniture, they also have Utah's largest selection of Sealy, Tempur-pedic Tempur-pedic and Serta mattresses. They have exclusive exclu-sive lines designed especially for I.M. Home and a money back gurarantee that you will get the lowest price on Go in now to participate in every memory foam or tradi- I.M. Firefighter Beach of the Springville Fire Department came to Art City Elementary to talk to the kids about fire safety. He did a contest with some students and teachers. He'd read a question and the team that rang the bell and got the answer right got points. The kid's won and the gym was screaming! After Af-ter that, I asked Mr. Beach some questions about being a firefighter, he said, "I didn't always want to be a firefighter, all the firefighters in Springville are volunteers, so I have another job." He also said he's been doing his job for about 12 years! That's older than me, he must be an expert. His favorite thing about being a firefighter is coming to schools and talking to kids about fire safety. He also helped at the big fire in the mountains over the weekend. When the helicopters came to pour water he was about six yards from it. Here are some of the things Firefighter Beach asked us: Are the batteries in your smoke alarm working? Does your home have a smoke alarm on every floor including the basement? base-ment? Has your family picked a safe place to meet outside while you leave your home? Are your extension ex-tension cords used safely? (not under any carpets or across doorways) Are all the exits in your home clear of anything? Try to answer some of these in your home.
