Homes r a Pictured left to right are Andrew Ord, Logan Deans and Stephen Boice, program chairman for last week's Kiwanis Club meeting. Andrew is a junior wide receiver for the BYU Cougars and Logan is a red shirt freshman running back. These two young men representing the BYU football team shared experiences experi-ences not only about the great season they had recently completed complet-ed but experiences which are indicative of the high moral and spiritual nature of their coaches and teammates. It was evident that these men are outstanding, examples of the type of people being recruited and brought to Provo as ambassadors for BYU. Coach Crowton, his staff, the trainers and certainly their parents and the university can be proud of the way these men respond to the call. As one person remarked, "When I heard it was football I thought it would be a rah-rah type of evening but was treated to a very special night." The Palmyra Chapter of the Sons of the Utah Pioneers in January had Steve Nyman as guest speaker. Steve is the director of all the dining services for B.Y.U. He told how they serve 35,000 meals a day, the largest group being the Missionary Training Center that may have as many as 4,200 missionaries at one time. Steve oversees 107 full-time employees and 1,500 student employees in the B.Y.U. Food Services. Pictured from left: Program Chairman Irwin Curtis, Deanna and Steve Nyman. Photo by Keith Davis.
