Show Suzanne J. r.lickclscn Suzanne Judd Mickelsen, Mick-elsen, 60, of Springville, !Utah, passed away Saturday, Satur-day, January 19, 2002, due to complications from surgery. She was born October 24, 1941, .in Kanab, Utah, to Zad-"ock Zad-"ock Ray and Elva Hay--cock Judd. Suzanne married Brice Charles Mickelsen February 28, 1970, in the St. George LDS Temple. Suzanne graduated from Northern Arizona University and did graduate grad-uate work at Brigham Young University. She worked in the accounting department of the University Uni-versity of Southern California and with the Sevier County Extension Service as a home demonstration dem-onstration agent. Suzanne was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfiilly in many church callings. She was a loving wife, mother and grandma. Her greatest great-est accomplishment was her family. She loved spending time with her family and many close friends. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband. Brice Mickelsen Mic-kelsen of Springville; three daughters: Mary (Prince) Jacobson of Springville; Sara (Jared) Lewis of Modesto, CA; Rachel (Eric) Bucker of Springville; and one grandchild. Hunter Lewis. Lew-is. She is also survived by four brothers and one sister: Burke Judd, Duane Judd, Vance Judd, Arlo Judd and Jac-lyn Jac-lyn Dyer. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January Janu-ary 24, at 1 1 a.m. in the Spring Creek Fifth Ward Chapel, 200 N. 900 East, Springville. Viewing View-ing will be Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E. 200 South, Springville Sprin-gville or Thursday at the church one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery. 0 Suzanne J. Mickelsen Josephine A. Carly It is with deep sorrow sor-row that the family of Josephine Aimonetto Carly announce her passing on January 19, 2002. She was born June 27, 1913, in Bingham Canyon, Utah, the first of six children, all girls, to Giacomo and Catarina Magnino Aimonetto. Her childhood was spent in Lehi where she received her education and later left school to help run the family farm when her father died of pneumonia. pneu-monia. She married Dan Carly August 6, 1936, in Salt Lake City. She and her loving husband lived in Clairton, Pennsylvania, Pennsylva-nia, Mt. Harris, Colorado Colora-do and Midvale, Utah, before settling in Maple-ton Maple-ton in 1940 to raise their family. Together with her husband they started the Carly Ornamental Ironworks Iron-works which operated for more than 23 years. She worked at the Wilson Wil-son Nursing Home and Provo Eldred Center caring for the elderly and later at the Mapleton Boys home as a cook. She loved to cook gourmet gour-met Italian dishes and she was an excellent seamstress having made many beautiful quilts for her family and friends. She also loved to read and spend time in her garden and yard. Above all else she loved her husband and family and gave generously of her time and talents. She is preceded in death by her son, Dan Jr.; sister, Lena Aimonetto; Aimon-etto; and great-granddaughter, Morgan Michelle Carly. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Dan Carly, and their children; Roger (Polly) Carly of Marfa, Texas; and Gene (Ber-nita) (Ber-nita) Carly of Mapleton; and daughter-in-law, Geri Carly, of Springville. She is also survived sur-vived by nine grandchildren grandchil-dren and 29 great-grandchildren; four sisters: Jeanine Girot, Eda Powell, Pow-ell, Helen Coliana and Republican Women at i Legislature Utah County Republican Women will visit the State Legislature Legis-lature on Mon., Jan. 28. The bus; will leave promptly at 7 a.m.; from the south-east corner of the. University Mall in Orem, return- ing home at 3:30 p.m. .; They will attend the 8 a.m.' committee meetings of their choice, and then observe the Senate and House of Representa tives in action, from 10 until noon. A hot lunch will be served, as the Utah County Legislators give us an update on issues and bills that are being discussed this session. Round trip bus and lunch will cost $13 each.
