July 22. 2000 at her home She was bom September 9. 1917 in Winter Quarters, C arbon, Utah to William Henry and l.llcn Higgs 1 easdalc. She married Harold Paul Miner on January 6. 1943 in the Salt Lake Temple. I hey are the proud parents of two children. With graduated from Springville High School. She also graduated from I I)S Business College in Salt l ake City in business. busi-ness. Ldith worked for the Welfare Department in Ptovo for twenty-seven ears. retiring on July 31. 1982. lidilh was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints. She served as librarian, single adult representative and ty ping the church tithing receipts. re-ceipts. She was a Visiting Visit-ing leacher. She also ty ped the programs for many years. She is survived by her two children: a daughter, daug-hter, Shirley M. Wilkey of Orem; and a son. Rex Paul Miner of American Fork; one step-brother, Wilbert (isles (LuW'ana) Jesse G. Jesse Grant Hall, 78. of Mapieton, passed away July 19, 2000. He was born May 9, 1922 in Mapieton, Utah to Otto Armond and Rebecca Larscn Hall. He married Jean Jackson on August 3. 1943 Grant was an accomplished accom-plished craftsman and could build and repair anything. He was a perfectionist per-fectionist and took great pride in his yard and garden. He enjoyed hunting, hunt-ing, fishing and loved the mountains and outdoors. Grant had many hidden talents including piano, poetry and singing. Most of all. Grant loved his family. He spent countless count-less hours enjoying activities activ-ities with his family. He was always there for everyone and shared willingly. Angelo attended schools in Carbon County Coun-ty and was a miner there during his younger years He also worked in farming farm-ing and construction. He retired from US Steel in Orem. Utah after 25 years. Angelo enjoyed the outdoors, his garden, visiting family and grandchildren gran-dchildren and telling stories of his past experiences. experi-ences.
