J: ) i Anthony Medved Glenna June Melzer Glenna June Melzer, age 70, passed away Friday, March 19, 1999 at the Art City Care and Rehabilitation Center in Springville. Utah from Alzheimer's disease. Glenna was born June 8, 1928 in Los Angeles, California, to Gertrude M. Rawson and Klesmer D. Lowry. She grew up in the Los Angeles and Berkeley areas and had many wonderful memories memo-ries of her youth and teenage years. She married Edward S. Melzer Jr. on June 25. 1950 in Berkeley. California. Cali-fornia. Their first home was in Alhambra, California, Cali-fornia, where their three children were born. Their marriage was solemnized and their children sealed to them in the Los Angeles Temple. Tem-ple. In 1967 they moved to Fair Oaks, California, and then to Springville in 1980. Glenna faithfully served in many ward and stake callings in the LDS Church, but her first love was working as a Laurel Teacher.
