He is a grandson of the founder of W.W. Clyde & Co., a well-known construction firm. Wilford is President and Chief Executive Officer of Geneva Rock Products Inc., subsidiary W.W. Clyde & Co. Geneva Rock was started in 1954; the asphalt operation was added in 1968. He said Geneva Rock is the largest ready-mix concrete company in Utah, with 130 mixer trucks and 450 employees. Wilford told how he admired his grandfather, W.W. Clyde, who preached and practiced ."Always be fair with your employees and customers" and "Always give a good measure". J. PUBLIC NOTICE Probate and guardianship Notice Consult county clerk or the respective signers for further invormation Notice of Special Bond Election City of Springville Utah County, Utah PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a special bond election will be held in the City of Springville, Utah county, State of Utah (the "City"), at the same time as the statewide regular primary election, on the 8th day of September, 1992, at which election there shall be submitted sub-mitted to the qualified, registered voters residing within the City the following question: Shall general obligation bonds of the City of Springville, Spring-ville, Utah County, Utah, in an amount not to exceed $2,700,000, due and payable in not to exceed twenty (20) years from the date of the bonds, be issued and sold for the purpose of providing moneys to pay the costs of acquiring, improving and extending certain improvements, improve-ments, facilities and properties for the acquisition, storage, transportation and supplying of water for domestic, domes-tic, industrial, irrigation, recreational and other municipal water purposes through the water system that is owned and controlled by the City, including all engineering, feasibility, legal and fiscal advisors' fees and costs incident to the authorization and issuance of such bonds? The polls at each polling place shall be opened at the hour of 7:00 a.m. and will be kept open until and will be closed at the hour of 8:00 p.m. There is to be no special registration of voters for such special bond election and the official register of voters last made or revised shall constitute the register for such special bond election, except that all persons who reside within the City and are registered to vote in the statewide regular primary election to be held on September Septem-ber 8, 1992, shall be considered registered to vote in the special bond election. The County Clerk will cause the registration agents in the City to make registration lists or copies of such lists available at each of the above-described polling places for use by registered electors entitled to use each such polling place. Absentee ballots may be obtained by any person otherwise eligible to vote at the special bond election but who is physically disabled, who will be serving as an 'election judge in another voting district, or who expects to be absent from the City on the day of the special bond election by making application in the manner and within the time provided by law, either by mail or in person, at the office of the County Clerk of Utah County at the Utah County Administration Building in Provo, Utah. V 4 " . . Sherrel Ray Heaps, Sr. Sherrel Ray Heaps, 62, of Salt Lake City, died Friday, August 7, 1992 at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center from complications during surgery. He was born August 23, 1929 in Es-calante Es-calante to Levi Duane and Irean Alvey Heaps. He married Theo Joyce Stevens in Provo, January 5, 1966. He was a foreman and smelting shift supervisor at Kennecot for 15 years, and has also been a truck driver. His interests included in-cluded the Provo Riding Club and the 4-H Horseman Hor-seman Program (Lake-view). (Lake-view). He loved animals, hunting, fishing and his family. Nephi Paul Best Nephi Paul Best, 74, of Mapleton, died Wednesday, August 5, 1992 at a care center in Provo of a lingering illness. He was born in Springville, November 23, 1917 to Edgar Oakley and Ettie Irene Strong Best. He married Merle Brown in Elko, Nevada, December 8, 1952. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. He was raised and attended schools in Springville, graduating from Springville High School. He is a veteran of World War II and worked at Geneva, and later was self-employed in furnace installationsheet metal work. He was an elder in the LDS Church. His interests included: gardening, singing, fishing, pinenut hunting, puzzles,' cooking and friends. He loved performing in church musicals and has made quiltsforallofhischildren. He is survived by his wife of Mapleton; Two sons and four daughters: Eldon and Sharon Best, Mapleton, Randall and Cindy Best, American Fork; Evelyn and Jim Crane, Springville; Pauline and Randy Gurr, Genola; Bonnie and Gerald Tennyson, Minneapolis, MN; Barbara and Ronald Williams, Spanish Fork; 27 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters: Eric and Lance Ondrick; three grandchildren; three brother, Richard (Dick), Kay and Mac Bills, all of Mapleton; three sisters, Nadine Barnes, Lander, WY; Pat "Haymond, Salt Lake; and Dianne Wittusen, Mapleton.
