This school was unique in thai students from seventh grade through high school seniors sen-iors were housed and educated. The next educational assignment assign-ment was his appointment as principal of the Brooksidc Elementary School in Springville Spring-ville in 1977. In 1978, Mr. Dotson was appointed the principal of the new Art City Elementary School where he will conclude his career. "I would also like to pay a well-deserved well-deserved tribute to the great Photographers invited fo enfer Art City Days show The Art City Days Committee Commit-tee has announced that there will be a Photography show as part of the 1990 Art City Days Celebration. Children are happy when they realize that they can achieve and succeed. They feel secure in a classroom that has an atmosphere at-mosphere of fair, tough love. They know that where there is great love there are great miracles. They are not afraid to try because they know that they have the freedom to make mistakes while they are learning. learn-ing. I tried to make the children child-ren partners in learning and often also in teaching. I believe that you learn best by being directly involved." Mrs. Kenison said, "I will miss the children very much. Just the thought of not seeing these first graders with their trusting eyes and open minds makes me choke up. I will also miss the many supportive parents par-ents who believed with me in their children's potential and who trusted and supported me." Following retirement Mrs. Kenison plans to serve with the United States Peace Corps and has accepted a position in the Teacher Training Division.
