"Citizens of the Month" for April are: 8th Grade Melissa Rowley, daughter of Dean and Bonnie Rowley, loves school! She maintains high academic standards and loves to learn new things. She also loves to dance, has been dancing since she was three years old, and also teaches dancing. She enjoys playing the piano, plays for church and civic groups, and was accompanist ac-companist for the school play. She has been a member of the school band for three years, playing the flute. She likes to tend children and gets along well with others. She likes to sew and has received awards for her sewing at the county fair. Chad is a Life Scout and plays the piano and trumpet. He loves basketball, football and is on the 8th grade track team. He likes to read, fish, hike, hunt, bike and go on river runs. Chad is an honor student with a 4.0 GPA for 3 years. He is a member of the State Math Team. Seth Herring is the son of David and Lynn Herring of Mapleton. He enjoys athletics and drama. He is interested in everything, so he is active in everything he can fit into his schedule. He is always looking for work to finance his many activities. Seth has had several types of employment. He also practices the piano and sings tenor in the church choir. His favorite school subjects have to do with the study of history, which he finds especially interesting. in-teresting. 9th Grade Trina Anderson, daughter of 'Mr. and Mrs. Robert Anderson of Springville, was born in Price. At the age of two, the family moved to Plenty wood, Montana. They lived there un- . til June of 1988 when they moved back to Utah. She en-j joys all animals and she especially es-pecially likes to ride horses. Volleyball and swimming are two of her favorite pastimes. Trina was in this year's March of Dimes Walk-a-Thon and completed the 12-mile walk. Nickie Lee is the daughter of Kenn and Kathie Lee. She enjoys schoolespecially socializing with her friends, but works hard to stay on the honor roll. Her favorite subject is drama. Nickie likes to shop and be with her friends. Her favorite activity is to go boating and water skiing especially at Lake Powell. Dempsey Brown is the foster son of Bert and Leola Naylor of Springville. Dempsey is from Gallup, New Mexico, and is completing his first year with the Indian Placement Program. Pro-gram.
