The Copperton M.I.A. is pon-oring pon-oring a class for young married couples which is held on the second sec-ond and fourth Sundays of every month at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Sorenson. Classes are held after sacrament meetings. Mr. Melva Wilson and children visited Wednesday with Mrs. Ronnie Burke and children, Kim and Mike, of White City. Kenneth Foster went to Moab Saturday and Sunday for a F.O.E. state officers visitation. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hardman attended at-tended a birthday party Saturday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hod Jackson in Magna. Joye Swanson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Swanson of Salem visited Saturday and Sunday in Copperton with Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hardman and Mrs. Melva Wilson. Mrs. Vincent Miola entertained Sunday with a lovely turkey dinner honoring the birthdays of Mr. Miola and Mr. Irene Rekouti. Also helping help-ing them celebrate the occasion were Johnny Rekoutis, and Margaret Mar-garet and Pa,ul Miola. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Pullan and son, Wayne, of Sandy, visited recently re-cently with Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Foster. Mrs. Melva Wilson and children visited in Orem with Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Mace and in Salem with Mr. and Mrs. George Swanson. Mrs. Elvin Armitstead entertained entertain-ed last week with a lovely turkey dinner for her husband, honoring his birthday. Russell Anderson, program chairman. chair-man. Program for the evening will be a talk and demonstration on flower arrangements to be given by Mrs. Dorthea Newbold of Midvale. All club members are invit-d to come out. Copperton Ward Mutual will be starting at a new time from now on it is announced. The time has been changed from 7:30 to 7:15 p.m. Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Winn of Midvale Mid-vale visited Sunday in Copperton with Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Foster, Mr. end Mrs. Martin Jensen and Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Winn. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Johnson .and family left last Friday for Los Angeles, An-geles, Calif., to visit relatives and attend the World Series. They will return home some time this week. Mrs. Heber Nichols entertained her birthday club at her home Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon. A very lovely one o'clock luncheon was served after which bridge was played. Prizes Pri-zes were won by Mrs. W.D.S. Brown and Mrs. Helen Sullenger. Mr. and Mrs. John Doyle of Murray visited Sunday evening at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Gust and Mr. and Mrs. Pete Smith. Mrs. Irene Throckmorton and Mrs. Betty Winn are participating in the Singing Mothers Chorus which will sing at both sessions of the LDS General Conference Friday. Fri-day.
