Show BM.A. FLASHES by Jim Abplanalp TURKEY SHOOT NEXT WEEK! The annual BDAA Turkey and Chicken Shoots will be held next Wednesday and Thursday at the usual location in Copperton. This year's shoots will be day long af- fairs, with the .22 caliber guns being be-ing used o,n Wednesday, October 14, and the big game rifles the following fol-lowing day. Shooting on both days will begin at 9:00 a.m. and continue con-tinue till dark. Prizes will be awarded award-ed to winners of both the small and big bore rifles, a lucky target shoot and a lucky drawing of all members. mem-bers. Winners in either rifle shoot, may not win in the lucky target or drr.wing events. This is an ideal time for you deer hunters to get your shooting eye in shape and also win a big delicious bird for Thanksgiving. No scope sights will be allowed, and no practicing will be allowed at the ranges on the two days of the shoot. High School Contract Again! We are happy to announce that the B.D.A.A. has again renewed the contract with Bingham High School. We are sorry, due to some un-N un-N foreseen circumstances, that we did not have negotiations made with tho school wi time for. the early practice football game, but we feel sure the coming events will compensate com-pensate for this early inconvenience. inconven-ience. We will try our best to keep you posted on all coming events. Members that have not received their cards may do so at the high school activities or at the turkey shoots. Football Game Here Today The Bingham Jordan football game scheduled to be played here last night (Thursday) has been changed to this afternoon, Friday, at 2:00 p.m. at Copperton. The day is also district band day. Next Friday, October 16, the Miners travel to Granger and on the following Friday, October 23, play at Tooele. Bingham plays Cyprus here on Friday, October 30. O |
