Bowlden Fereuson. 93. of Orem. died Thursday, Feb. 9, 1984, in Provo. She was born Nov. 21, 1890, in Springville to James and Othelia Leona Avery Bowlden. She married James B. i ciguoun uu ou, 1910, in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Ferguson on Nov. 30, Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. He died May 14, 1969. She attended schools in Springville. She served in all the auxiliary organizations of the LDS Church. She was ward chorister for many years, and ap- plied her musical talents in other than church functions. She ioined the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers in April 1937. as a charter member of the Edgemont Camp. For 15 years she worked with the state Central CUP Committee in Salt Lake City, and for eight vears she was Dresident of the North Utah County DUP She is survived bv a daughter in Provo, Mrs. J. T. (Naomi) Walker; 17 grandchildren; 39 great- grandchildren; and six great- great- grandchildren. Three sons preceded her in death. Howard B., J. Cecil and Ray B. Melba Zimmer Melba Almira Johnson Zimmer, 68, Austin, Tex., died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 1984 in Austin from injuries sustained in a traffic accident. She was resident of ans was Cedarview a former Springville born in Utah on July 24, 1916 to Oliver David Johnson and Lydia Almira Taylor Johnson. She married Murray Jacob Crosby in the Logan Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; he later died. She then married Milton R. Knight and was later divorced. She married Herbert J. Zimmer, who is deceased. She graduated from Springville High School and moved to Texas in 1941. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Survivors include her children: David LeRoy Crosby, Vernal, Utah; Norma Crosby Olson, West Valley City; Milton Robert Knight, Piano, Tex.; Raymond Vivian Knight, Houston, Tex.; her brothers; Qarn x Johnson, Verl T.
