Show March 22, 1979 - The Springvillp Herald Fifteen Pat?e Grandsons earn Eagle Darrin Paul Donithorne, son of Mr. and Mrs. Du-Wayne H. Donithorne, and grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur C. Boyer, has earned his Eagle Scout Award at age 13. He is the third son of the , Donithornes to achieve this honor. Dennis, the oldest son. earned his Duty to God Award in addition to the Eagle badge. He served a mission for the LDS Church in Northern Italy, and is now married and lives in San Jose, California. Delane, who recently returned from his mission to Northern Italy and is now attending BYU, also earned his Duty to God Award along with the Eagle Award. Darrin was able to have his older brothers act as Honor Guards at his Eagle ceremony. Darrin plans on achieving his Duty to God Award as he becomes old enough to receive it. They have toured California, performed per-formed at Knotts Berry Farm, Disneyland, several Real Estate Conventions and recently appeared in Salt Lake City at the Utah Feed Mfg. Convention. The New Horizons will be the featured entertainment at the Miss Provo Pageant March 24. Future plans of the group include a 10-day tour this coming July through Utah, Arizona, and Southern California. The New Horizons are under the direction of a talented husband and wife team, Jim and Jann Wyler, who moved to Utah from California a year ago. The Wylers have had much ex perience with entertainment. en-tertainment. Among their credits are the Grand Land Singers, for which Jim was assistant director, while Jann was the choreographer and performed with the group; also a popular touring group The bound of Youth" which they directed for eight years. Temple conference dates set The Provo Temple will be open during the week of April Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to accommodate regular patrons, as well as friends and visitors from outside the Provo Temple District. The, regular session for Spanish-speaking Spanish-speaking people will not be held on Saturday, April 7, because of the Conference. Con-ference. Special language sessions in ' connection with Conference will include Portuguese on Wednesday, March 28, and on Tuesday, April 3; and Spanish on Thursday, March 29, and on Wednesday, Wed-nesday, April 4. Living endowment patrons for these sessions should arrive by 8:30 a.m., and visitors attending these sessions should arrive by 9:30 a.m. A Cantonese language session will also be held Tuesday, March 27. Other language sessions will be arranged by appointment. The living endowment patrons should be at the Temple for the Cantonese session by 3 p.m., and the guests at 4 p.m. The Temple will stop giving names on Saturday, Satur-day, March 31, at 12 noon, to allow Temple workers to listen to the afternoon Conference session. Monday, April 2, the Temple will be closed, and will reopen on Tuesday, April 3, on the regular schedule of 50 sessions daily.
